Laborers of Khozestan Pipe Factory, desperate

Ahwaz, Jan. 10, 2011
A laborer from the factory reported that a group of the laborers of this closed factory gathered in Falakeh Square in front of Harasat Building of the factory to demand 20 months of their wages that haven’t been paid to them.
Because these laborers live in distant places and because they didn’t have the money to take a taxi, they had walked for hours or used bikes or bicycles to be able to get to the place.
So far no definite answer has been given to them and they are being played about.

Tehran, Jan. 11, 2011
As regime prevents designating broad bandwidth in Iran fast internet is not practically possible in Iran. Regime has imposed limitations for using internet especially after the National Uprising of 2009-2010 when people used internet to vastly post the clips of the protests and their news.
Mehr state-run news agency admitted that the main problem (in having fast internet) is that Communication Enterprise doesn’t cooperate and those not dedicate communication facilities to PAP (11 fast internet services’ enterprises in Iran).

Regime’s plan of suppression on the anniversary of anti-monarchy revolution

Tehran, Jan. 11, 2011
Reports received from within the regime say that in fear of popular protest on the anniversary of anti-monarchy revolution on February 11 regime has started planning suppressive measures by Bassij and other organs from long before.
According to this plan regime’s suppressive forces will concentrate on Tehran and regime intents to mobilize its agents in 50 different points in Tehran distributing free food in those points and regime’s TV will have live broadcasting at those points.
Bassij forces, IRGC members, agents of regime’s notorious intelligence and army are ordered to participate in the state-run demonstrations on the day and they must bring their families with them.
Tehran’s Communication Bureau is ordered to cut lines one, two and three of cell phones on the day as well as connection to outside the country.
In a private session with the heads of Intelligence, IRGC and regime’s army Khameneie has emphasized that this day is vital for the regime and there should be no protests.

70% discount for Bassijies

Tehran, Jan. 10, 2011
Mohammad Reza Naghdi the head of Bassij announced that according to an agreement between IRGC’s Bassij Organization and countries public libraries, Bassijes can become a member of these libraries with 70% discount. The agreement is for two years.
As most of Bassiji hooligans are illiterate so it is not clear what is the aim of such agreement other than spreading the presence of suppressive Bassijies in public places?
