Interview with Roodabeh Akbari, Mr. Kazemi’s wife

Jan. 24, 2011
The following is a part of the interview with Mrs. Akbari:
Q- When was the last time you saw Mr. Kazemi?
A- Last Saturday
Q- What did he say then?
A- He told me they don’t say anything to you beforehand. When they called Syadat (hanged on Dec.28, 2010) they took him away to ward 209 and then hanged him. They don’t inform you here from before.
Q- In your last visit what did he say about his sentence of execution?
A- He said: “this is a political decree. They (the regime) are under pressure and because they cannot reach the guys in Ashraf (the place of residence of PMOI members in Iraq) they are putting pressure on the prisoners and their families who are taken hostage here”.
They had footnoted themselves that his allegation was propagation against the Establishment.
Q- You were his wife and you witnessed his activities, what did he do that he would deserve execution?
A- Nothing. He was just doing his job. Only because my son was in Ashraf we talked to him once in a while. I think this is my minimum right that I wanted to hear my child. But this was their document.
Q- What about the clips and photos?
A- Didn’t others go to demonstrations and took pictures and clips. He didn’t even participate in the demonstrations. He just posted some pictures of Mr. Massoud Rajavi (the leader of the resistance) and taped the scene…Mohareb means having weapons but he didn’t even carry a pin.
I just wanted to say that do something for other prisoners. They too are under the most sever pressures…

Fearing even the dead body of Kazemi and Aghaee regime tantalizes their family

Tehran- Jan. 24, 2011
Family of Jafar Kazemi comes and goes between Evin and regime’s court for receiving the body.
When the family of Jafar Kazemi referred this morning to Evin prison for the corpse the intelligence agents there told them that they have to refer to the so-called Revolutionary Court and receive a written permission for that.
The family members of Mohammad Aghaee who were just informed this morning of his execution by regime’s media and went to Evin Prison to receive the body were also told that they have to bring a written permission from the branch that issued the decree.
This is what the officials of regime’s Judiciary usually do with the families of executed political prisoners to harass them more.
Mr. Kazemi’s wife said: “I don’t believe that regime did such a thing. I tell everybody that Jafar was innocent”.
She added: “He had a very good spirit. Last week they took him to solitary cells and told him that no matter you yield to the TV interview or not you will be hanged next week. But Jafar resisted them”.

Other news say that to make the resistant prisoners kneel to the regime the henchmen have asked them either to sign papers of repentant and false confessions or be executed.
Both Kazemi and Ahgaee had resisted to the bullying and said that they had done nothing to deserve execution. This was the reason they were not executed last week. Once more this show has been repeated on Saturday Jan. 22 and they both were taken to the gallows and they were told either to sign or to be executed.
They both had resisted again and said that they had done nothing to deserve execution and the henchmen just wanted to make their cases heavier.

The family of Jafar Kazemi and Moahmmad Ali Haj Aghaee were not informed of the executions

Tehran- Jan. 24, 2011
When this morning the family of political prisoner, supporter of PMOI, Jafar Kazemi went to visit him as every week they were prevented from entering the visiting hall; instead they were shocked with the news of the execution of Mr. Kazemi.
His family asked for his corps but they were told that they had to refer to coroner for that.
It is to be mentioned that when the clerical dictatorship hanged another supporter of PMOI, Ali Saremi on Dec. 28, 1020 it didn’t return the body to his family and at last it took it to Saremi’s birth place and had it buried there.
It seems that Khamenei has ordered the gradual massacre of political prisoners and once in a while he hangs them to provoke fear and horror in the society.
We must mention that tomorrow, Tuesday Jan. 25 is Arbaeen one of the days of potential uprising or protest.
Jafar Kazemi 47, married and having two children was a lithograph. He was arrested on September 18, 2009 in Haft Hooz Square by 4 vehicles full of regime’s Intelligence Ministry and spent 74 day in solitary cells of ward 209 at Evin Prison.
The judge of Kazemi’s case is a criminal called Mohammad Moghisehee known as Nasserian who was one of the members ‘the Death Board’ responsible for the massacre of 30000 political prisoner in 1988.
Nasserian has a deep hatred towards political prisoners especially supporters of PMOI. Though there has been no document included in Mr. Kazemi’s file that he has committed any felony but Moghisehee told him: “we should have executed you all at that time (1988 massacre of political prisoners) and this is our mistake that we didn’t do so”.
Mr. Kazemi was also a political prisoner from the beginning of 1981 till the end of 1990.

The family of Mr. Aghaee too has not been able to receive his body so far.

Biography of Jafar Kazemi

Jafar Kazemi 47 years-old, political prisoner and supporter of PMOI was hanged at dawn today.
Jafar Kazemi was the father of two; one of his children now residing in Ashraf City the place of residence of PMOI members in Iraq.
He had formerly been imprisoned for 10 years as a political prisoner.
He was again arrested on September 18, 2009 when he participated in million strong protests against the regime after its presidential elections.
He went under severe torture in prison. His chest broke, his teeth broke and his back was so harmed that he was suffering from Sciatic nerve after the tortures.
Prison’s infirmary did nothing for him.
When at court the criminal judge demanded him to mention PMOI as ‘Monafeghin’ (or Hypocrites the name regime calls PMOI) but he answered back: “I don’t know any Monafeghin, I only know People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran”.
He was also threatened that if he doesn’t confess as they wished on TV they would bring his wife and 11 old years son in front of him and will torture them, but he resisted.
His main so-called crime was that he went to Ahsraf to visit his son.

Biography of Mohammad Ali Haj Aghaee

Tehran- Jan. 24, 2011
Mohamad Ali Haj Aghaee was from Faridan and was a hardworking laborer.
He was arrested at 1983 accused of supporting PMOI.
At the time of his arrest his two children were struggling with a disease that only a few people have it in millions.
While in prison, he tells her wife to sell everything for the treatment of the children.
The doctors said that his children will become paralyzed at 18 and then will die.
The clerical dictatorship uses the condition of his children as a tool for putting pressure on him at the prison but he resists.
In 1988 when he gets out of prison he is faced with the death of his two children in a short while.
He was once more arrested during the uprisings of 1988.
