Economy In Iran

Ahmadinejad’s cabinet’s budget of the year; inflationary, recessional and causing poverty
Tehran, April 16, 2010

A former regime’s MP, Alireza Mahjoob, called Ahmadinejad’s cabinet’s budget of the year as inflationary, recessional and poverty producing and said that there will be another phase of devaluation of country’s currency”.
ILNA state run news agency quoted Mahjoob as: “having in mind that Iran’s economy is suffering from recessional inflation, any measure taken about Iran’s major economy can result in extraordinary reconstruction or non-compensable damages…actually the difference between budget of 1388 and 1389 is that a new era of devaluation of currency which has started since 17 years ago will begin”.
Mahjoob being the current head a suppressive regime organ called “Khaneh Kargar (Laborers Home)” pointed to the horrible increase in cash due to determined budget in clerical regime and added: “Can thousands of production units that are wrecked move even their half alive body to reach speed, prosperity and hope due to this budget?
If we look at this fact that the government has given time to 4thousands production units which owe banks I must say that this number will grow this year (1389) as it reached the number of 6400 production units at the end of last year.
In 1389 investment and industry will recess each second and it is all due to the way the budget is figured out. It has no result other than increasing poverty”.
This former MP underlined this year’s inflation as at least 40% and underscored the devastating affect of new subsidiary policy and added: “it seems that with the new subsidiary policy the government intends to increase the price of gas up to 400 tomans per liter and it intents also to increase the price of water, electricity, and house fuel. The result would be an increase in price of transportation and other prices…we have to simply say that prices can rise up to 40%”.

Laying ground for unbelievable increase in electricity’s coast

Tehran, April 16, 2010

To lay the ground for an unbelievable increase in the price of electricity Ahmadinajad made up and unbelievable lie and claimed the average per person usage of electricity in Iran is 4 times of the world.
Ahmadinejad: “average per person usage of electricity is 200 watts. Unfortunately this amount is 800 in our country. In a world that they attack countries such as Iraq for energy assets and kill one million human beings this kind of usage is not acceptable”.
Then he talked about the anti people new policy of subsidiary of goods and claimed that electricity payments were not the ‘should be’: “the law has allowed us to receive electricity payments as stepwise and we can cut the subsidiary in water and electricity sections during 4 to 5 years”.
