Isfahan youth beat up SSF officer

Isfahan- Feb. 10, 2011
Young people in Isfahan clashed with security forces that were harassing a young girl and boy and beat a SSF officer.
According to reports from this clash, at 3 pm on Wednesday in the Artesh Square, when a State Security Force agent intended to arrest a young girl and boy, dozens of arrested young people who were in a bus and those who were witnessing the scene stopped the state security forces.
They chanted, ‘State Security Forces get lost’. A SSF officer who intended to attack the protesters angered the people and he was severely beaten by the bystanders. All the detainees escaped during the clash.

Young people write anti-regime slogans in Tehran’s public places

Young people in various Tehran regions have increased their activities in writing anti-regime slogans including in the Sad Dastgah region, Jalali, Mirzayi, Farahani streets and the Dahome Farvardin Intersection, Karegar, Pastor, Abureihan, Razi, Mofid, Karoun and Malek Ashtar streets.
Some of the slogans written by them are:
We will fight and die for freedom
Feb. 11 is the day the dictators will be overthrown
Death to dictator
Death to Khamenei
Death to the principle of the religious leadership
Khamenei get lost like Bin Ali

In fear of popular protests and to intimidate the public, the Iranian regime has dispatched its intelligence agents to the main streets of Tehran including Enqelab, Mosadeq, Vanak, North Karegar, Hafez and Keshavarz Blvd. These agents stop anyone they deem suspicious to conduct a body search and record his/her name and other information.
According to other reports, internet speed has also greatly decreased.

Iran officials try to pull crowds to state sponsored Revolution Day ceremony by giving out SIM cards and Nokia cell-phones

According to reports from Shahre Kord, regime officials have spread rumors in the high schools of this city that anyone who participates in the state-sponsored ceremony for the anniversary of the Revolution on February 11 will receive a SIM cellphone card from the Islamic Advertising Organization. They have also promised that if people hold banners in the ceremony, their names would be put in a lottery which would make them illegible to receive Nokia cell-phones.

Youths attack the surveillance cameras

On the intersections of main streets in Tehran, regime has installed surveillance cameras for identifying people.
On Feb. 10 some youths tried to destroy the cameras but SSF reached the scene and stopped the act.
At night the suppressive forces came and collected the tapes to identify them.

Last night, residents of Gisha and Amir Abad, as well as the residents of Shahrak Qarb, Ahnag Highway around Shiroodi Club and Pasdaran region cried Allah O Akbar showing Khamenei and his regime that the uprising in alive ready to erupt.
At Sadeghieh region after the cry of Allah O Akbar was chanted by people SSF raided the houses in the region and collected all satellite dishes but the residents did cry Allah O Akbar.

A group of female students of Department of Engineering at Tehran University issued a statement in the days of the anniversary of anti-monarchy revolution.
The statement reads in part:
We don’t want brutality and oppression behind this creed ,
We don’t want lash and club from this creed.
In the history of the nations what is left is their withstanding against the dictators. What has always been repeated in the history is the victory of people over dictators.
They might kill and oppress to add to their lives but no power has been able to stand in front of a nation that has willed to be free…
Though what we started was viciously suppressed but this flame gave hope to the hearts of all nations; now the dictators have no place to stay on this globe…

The clerical dictatorship buried the body of Zahra Bahrami executed Iranian- Dutch dissident in Semnan without the presence of her family.
The henchmen called Banafshe Naebpoor her daughter and told her that a family member is allowed to be present at the burial but they informed her so late that she couldn’t get there in time.
The clerical dictatorship has said that Ms. Bahrami was executed on charge of smuggling narcotics but this regime always gives back the body of those executed with this charge to their families and this shows that this charge was nothing but a cover for this political execution.

Mr. Hussein Aghaee son of political prisoner, supporter of PMOI, Mohammad Ali Haj Aghaee who was executed by the clerical dictatorship recently has been intimidated by the regime.
The security police of their neighborhood has summoned him and interrogated him. They have threatened him that he should not intend to hold any ceremony for the commemoration of his father.
They also have threatened Mrs. Aghaee’s father in that regard. They have told him: “tell you son in law to watch what he talks about with the media”.

Political prisoners under unbearable and inhumane pressures in Sanandaj

During last week interrogators of Intelligence Ministry and Pasdars (IRGC members) of the ward of political prisoners have surged putting pressure, harassing and intimating them at Sanandaj’s prison up to an unbearable level.
Prison’s guards, raid at them continuously beating them and offending them, breaking their minimum belongings.
The interrogators of the ministry take the political prisoners under interrogation for long hours, beating and offending them.
The political prisoners say that the henchmen are making the conditions in the prison as it was in the decade of 1980s.
The torturers are:
- Yadollah Eghbali, interrogator of Intelligence Ministry and knows no limit in torturing and harassing political prisoners. He has told them that he is famous as ‘the government’s nag’.
- Arash Parsa
- Mostafa Kolivand
- Mehdi Ghavami a spiteful and criminal Pasdar of the ward who continuously offends and harasses the political prisoner.
- Isa Ahmadian
- Almasi
- Waisani, he treats political prisoners savagely and inhumanely.
The decision of execution of political prisoners, mass executions, execution of youths and suppression of enchained and defenseless political prisoners is made by Khamenei and executed by the head of his Judiciary, criminal Sadegh Larijani with the help of Intelligence Ministry and Prisons Organization.

Early death for 10000 Iranians

Global Hygiene Organization announced that by 2012, 10600 Iranians will die due to air pollution. One third of this number would be in Tehran.
The head of regime’s Center of Environment’s Health of the Hygiene Ministry approved the statistic in a session called ‘discussing the ways for decreasing problems of citis’ air pollution’.

Booing regime and Khomeini at schools at the ceremony for the anniversary of Khomeini’s return to Iran

On Feb.1, the anniversary of return of imposter Khomeini to Tehran, regime intended to ring the bell of all schools at 930 in the morning but this move was confronted by the pupils booing the act.
In most of the educational centers in Tehran in regions 3, 8, 9, 2, 1, 19, 10 and other regions as soon as the bell rang, the pupils started to boo as a sign of their protest. The teachers followed the act and they too started to boo.

70% of shoe making workshops in Tabriz are closed

ILNA news agency reported that Javad Hossein Nejad, the head of Tabriz’s Shoe-Making Union, announced on Feb. 5 that from 2000 shoe making units in Tabriz only 30% are active. 30 other percent are half closed and the rest are closed.
Tabriz made 40,000 hand-made pair of shoes yearly.
Hossein Nejad counted the shortage of row material with high quality in the market and the fact that no fine leather is made as the main factors of low quality of hand-made shoes of Tabirz.
He added: “we don’t have fine quality row material such as adhesive, leather, lining and upper layer as well as trappings and because custom tariffs are high we cannot import them either”.

Collecting mercenaries from other cities for Feb. 11

Regime intends to bring its mercenaries from cities of Varamin, Packdasht, Azad Shahr and Qods Township and locate them in places such as Amjadieh’s Basketball Saloon and some similar places.
Some of them are going to be stationed at Olympic Village. Their buses will be parked around the village.

On Wednesday February 2 at 1830 regime’s mercenaries poured into the main squares of Tehran holding placards reading ‘Mobarak be ashamed and leave the power’ and they chanted pro-Khamenei slogans while regime’s armed agents were there to protect them.
They were served soup and Coke. In each group of these mercenaries half of them were female Bassijies and the rest armed SSF men.
Another report says that throughout 16 Azar St. and in front of Tehran University’s entrance regime’s suppressive forces were stationed and they were chanting pro-Khamenei slogans and they too were served with food and beverages. In alleys around the university SSF forces were stationed in their cars.

Mass arrests in Paveh

News obtained by ISC say that 34 residents of Paveh are arrested and one of them has had a brain stroke due to tortures imposed on him.
These 34 have then been taken to an unknown location and have had not contacted with their families since.

A Kurd killed by SSF

Moukariyan News Agency reported that a Kurd resident from Qhotareh Village, Jafar Sharifi, was killed when a SSF shot at him. Mr. Sharifi was married and had a child.

The execution of one of the high ranking commanders of IRGC in Ahwaz, Abdolreza Qorabat 52, was as a warning to the other commanders of this force that are keeping distance from the Establishment of Velayat-e-Faghieh.
Qorabat was executed at Karoon Prison in Ahwaz on Jan. 26 accused of ‘claiming to be God and having connection with Imam Zaman’.
Being with IRGC from 1980 to 2002, Qorabat was arrested on 2007 in the root from Hamidieh to Ahwaz for the third time and was kept there until the time of his execution.
His family was not permitted to see him before execution. His body was buried by the agents of Intelligence Ministry at night in a place called Broomir before Ahwaz’s Chaharshir, far from his birth place.
A number of IRGC’s commanders had tried to prevent his execution but Sadegh Larijani The head of regime’s Judiciary insisted on the execution.

Free Hashem Khastar

Teacher’s Guild Society wrote an open letter to Mullah Sadegh Larijani demanding the immediate freedom of Hashem Khastar, enchained teacher.
Mr. Khastar has recently gone under a heavy operation and by the order of his physicians he should have stayed in CCU but instead he was immediately transferred to prison.
Khastar was chosen as a candidate by people of Azerbaijan to be their mayor after the anti- monarchy revolution but he didn’t accept it and continued his teaching in his birthplace Birjand.
During the time he is serving his term (6 years term) he has also lost his sight to some percent.
Khastar is 57 years old.

Two political prisoners savagely tortured

It is about 10 days that Farhang and Shahram Poor Mansouri two political prisoners who had been recently transferred to the newly formed ward for political prisoners at Gohardahst (Rajeeshahr) Prison have been transferred to solitary cells and went under severe torture.
In protest the two went on dry hunger strike.
Farhang has been so severely tortured that his left big toe, fingers and nose is broken.
The torturers at these solitary cells are: Ali Mohammadi, deputy of the prison; Faraji, deputy of prison’s intelligence; Reza Torabi, the head of prison’s inspection; Mirza Aghaee, a Pasdar (IRGC member) officer and prison’s torturer. Some other Pasdars such as Amini and Salmani also participate in the tortures.

Intelligence Ministry: take his kidney out

Hussein Ronaghi Maleki political prisoner in security ward of 350 of Evin Prison is in critical condition due to infection of his kidney.
Though even the physicians of the prison’s infirmary have said that the problem can be solved by laser therapy but the henchmen of Intelligence Ministry have ordered his kidney be taken out.
The family of Hussein Ronaghi Maleki had complained from two members of IRGC and they in turn have built up a fake case against Hussein and his family.
Maleki is a blogger and human rights activist. He has been tortured for a year in solitary cells to accept to interview but he didn’t and then he was condemned to 15 years of imprisonment along with corporal punishment by the criminal judge Pir Abbassi in Branch 26 of so-called Revolutionary Court of regime.

On Thursday Feb.3 in Gheshlagh neighborhood in Sanandaj a girl hanged herself from the rods of Gheshlagh Bridge. Her appearance spoke of her poverty. Eyewitnesses say that financial problems and poverty were the reason she committed suicide.
