April 20, 2010 – The number of suspended students of Kurdistan University reached 11 and 27 others are summoned by notorious Disciplinary Committee of the university; but Shervin Asadi one of suspended students that 30 other are summoned to the Disciplinary Committee.
Ojaghi the head of Harasat at Kurdistan University named the reason of these penalties as participation of these students in Nov. 4 and Dec.7 uprisings.
Mashad, April 20, 2010 – In Fersodi University of Mashad the campus is flooded with surveillance cameras even at the most isolated corners.
Khoramabad, April 20, 2010 – Bassijies attacked students at Azad University in Khoramabad while they were writing anti regime slogans.
Sistan and Baloochistan, April 20, 2010 – While the time of suspension of some of students of Sistan & Baloochistan University is over they are still banned from entering the university.

Dissident student killed suspiciously in Iranshahr University
April 20, 2010
- Keivan Goudarzi who was a math major at Iranshahr University in Sistan & Baluchistan, was suspiciously killed today. He was from Kermanshah.
The body of this student was found next to the transmission tower behind the university kitchen. He was active in Mir Hossein Moussavi's election staff and the reason behind his death is still not clear.
University officials have tried to introduce him as a worker who died because of electrocution.
According to reports, his face was severely damaged.

Two prisoners violently tortured for protesting systematic violence in Gohardasht Prison

- According to reports, two prisoners who had protested the violent and inhumane treatment of Hassan Akharian, the head of cellblock 1 in Gohardasht Prison in Karaj, were taken to a torture room which has been recently set up in this prison and were subjected to violent torture for hours. They were then thrown in solitary cells in cellblock 1 known as the doghouse.
On Monday April 19, two prisoners from cellblock 1 by the names of Hamid Kheirkhah and Reza Jalilvand were taken to a torture room set up by Hassan Akharian. These prisoners were first shackled and them violently beaten with clubs and electric clubs by Akharian, and other prison guards including Amini, Mohammad Mohammadi and Goudarzi. They were beaten in the face, head and other sensitive parts of their bodies. Two clubs broke as a result of the severity of the blows. After a long time, Akharian stopped the beatings and told the prisoners that they had to insult themselves and their families for the beatings to stop. But the prisoners did not only refuse this demand, they also tried not to cry out from pain while being tortured.
These four torturers then sprayed the prisoners' eyes with pepper spray and tear gas. The tortures were so severe that blood was dripping down the prisoners' faces and their bodies were black and bruised and bloody. These two defenseless prisoners who were bloody and injured were then thrown in solitary without any treatment.

Three prisoners sentenced to additional prison terms for writing letter from prison

- Sahand Ali Mohammadi, Bakhali Mohammadi and Abadollah Qasem Zadeh, three Azeri Ahle Haq prisoners in Yazd Prison were sentenced to an additional 30 months of prison each.
According to this sentence, the Revolutionary Court charged them with publishing lies with the intention of instigating public opinion by writing about their condition in Orumieh Prison and insulting the leadership.
Those close to the families of these three prisoners have said that they were each sentenced to 30 months of prison after Orumieh Prison made these allegations against them. With these additional prison terms, these prisoners now have 15 years and 6 months of prison each.

Still no news on young man beaten and arrested on Fire Festival
April 21, 2010 -
There is no news on the whereabouts and condition of Rasoul Hardani, a young man who was severely beaten and arrested on the Fire Festival (March 16, 2010).
Rasoul Hardani, 27, was arrested on the Fire Festival along with two of his friends and after being taken to the Shapure Detention Center, was tortured with electric clubs and electric shocks.
According to one his cellmates who was recently released, Rasoul, who had severe injuries because security forces had pulled his body on the asphalt, was taken to an unknown location after 24 hours.
His family has no information on his whereabouts since his arrest. Despite their constant appeals to the Revolutionary Court, the Tehran Prosecutor's Office, Evin Prison and other centers, officials refrain from giving them a clear answer. This has caused serious concerns for the Hardani family.
Rasoul Hardani and his family had tried in the year 2000 to divert a plane in order to seek asylum outside of Iran but they were unsuccessful. Rasoul and his family were subsequently arrested. A number of his family members were sentenced to death which was then lowered to long prison terms. According to his family, Rasoul Hardani was given a medical leave last year after 10 years of prison and received two surgeries at the Golestan Hospital in Ahwaz.

Dedicating a budget of 103 billion tomans to borders

In the ceremony for introduction of Khorasan Razavi’s commander of borders, Ahmadi Moghadam pointed to the fact that the government and the parliament had paid especial attention to the borders’ security in the current year by dedicating a more than 103 billion tomans budget to it.
Ahmadi Moghadam said: “in addition to this budget SSF will dedicate 70 billion tomans of its own credits to border police to strengthen the borders”.
The commander of SSF said that 16 provincial border commands act under the country’s Border Police Command to keep Islamic Republic’s 8000 km border secure.
In this introduction ceremony Pasdar Colonerl Mohammad Kazem Taghavi former deputy of Khorasan Razavi’s SSF was introduced as the new commander of border of the province.

Suppressive forces
Fars news agency (affiliated with RGC) April 14, 2010- commander of SSf of West Azerbaijan Hassan Karami: “right now two points of border is controlled with electronic devices. In the current year to confront criminals of internet and SMS we will enter a new phase and we will establish internet police. In the current year we will use most of our capacity in insensible controls by province’s police”.
Note: it is to be mentioned that the clerical regime has increased its controlling measures in western borders of the country, has increased activities of internet and SMS police and has increased installation of surveillance cameras throughout the cities and at entrances of the cities. These are amongst the main tasks of SSF which Karami the commander of West Azerbaijan SSF has pointed at too.
Fars news agency April 14, 2010 – the great gathering of 13 years old Bassijies will be held aiming at preserving Bassiji pupils’consistency on April 19. Tangestan’s RGC’s commander said: “attraction, general training, organizing, mobilization and usage of Bassiji pupils in form of resistance groups is deepening the Islamic Revolution from within and is the coming true of a 20 million strong army.
Active, effective and organized presence in areas of culture, science, research, security, social affairs, production, first aid, defense and spreading the culture and doctrine of Bassiji as well as confronting cultural assaults in the schools are amongst the missions of Pupils’ Bassij”.

Ridiculous babbling of criminal Pasdar, Naghdi

Naghdi the head of regime’s Bassiji said amongst some reporters: “US aircraft carriers are only big pots”.
He added: “US threats are voices rising from dead”.
Naghdi also revealed another conspiracy of this suppressive force namely meddling in school’s trainings affairs and said: “we intend to change the culture of lessons they should make the pupils acquainted with the culture of martyrdom. In that regard we are working with Education Ministry and we have started with lessons of preparation for defense”.
Note: it is to be mentioned that currently RGC and Bassij forces are having more concentration of pupils of the country. Some of the programs they have in mind for pupils are using them is suppressive groups, using them in defense area (in Iran- Iraq war the mullahs wrapped pupils in blankets and sent them on mine fields to clear them for the assault) and spreading the views of Supreme Leadership. Bassij is mobilized in this issue to prevent the spread of other cultures and thoughts amongst pupils.


Bassiji mercenaries establish check points

On Thursday night April 15 for creating a climate of fear and terror Bassiji mercenaries established a check point in front of Bassij base No. 167 in a street called Khomeini.
These Bassijies were equipped with live ammunition and batons. They acted viciously and stopped all the vehicles searching them and the youths savagely.


Misogyny the principle of clerical regime of Supreme Leadership

Imposter mullah Sedighi regime’s temporary Friday Imam in Tehran said that natural disasters are because of committing sin by people especially women and said if women have proper veil less sin will be committed in the society and God will be less furious.
Revealing the rotten and misogynous thoughts of mullahs, Sedighi said: “our ladies must have more proper veil because not having proper veil will lead to unforgivable sins and God will become angry”!
The imposter Friday Imam of Tehran added: “earthquakes are caused because of sins. We have no other way than thinking of God and taking refuge in religion because if an earthquake occurs in Tehran no body except God can confront it”. 

Mullah Larijani threatens freedom loving women of Iran

Following the head of SSf and Tehran’s temporary Friday Imam, mullah Sadegh Larijani clerical dictatorship’s head of Judiciary threatened women and said that those without proper veil will be punished.
On April 18 speaking amongst some henchmen of regime’s Judiciary mullah Larijani said: “not complying with society’s values and disciplines and being present in the society while having improper veil is offending the rights of others and Judiciary and SSF will decisively confront and punish those who take Islamic values under question, by law and regulations and religious laws”.

Arrest of women in Azerbaijan
Tehran, April 18, 2010
Misogynous regime of mullahs arrested some women who intended to watch a soccer match in Tabriz. Some of these women intended to travel from Uromeih to Tabriz to watch the game with two buses. They were stopped mid way and all the passengers were arrested.
Also some women from cities of Ardebil, Khoi, Sarab and Ahar who accompanies their male relatives to support their team on the hills around the match were arrested and transferred to Tabriz Intelligence Bureau.
It is said that despite of the suppressive security climate about 2000 women had gone to the hills around the match but were arrested.

5 members of family sentenced to death for relations with PMOI
April 18, 2010 - Motahareh Bahrami who was detained in the Ashura protests (December 27, 2009), was sentenced to death. She was arrested with her husband, son a relative and one her husband's friends on Ashura and there are reports that these five people were sentenced to death.
Motahareh (Simin) Bahrami Haqiqi, her husband Mohsen Daneshpour Moqadam, and her son, Ahmad Daneshpour Moqadam were all arrested along with one of their relatives Reihaneh Haj Ibrahim. Hadi Qaemi, a close friend of Mohsen Daneshpour, who was also arrested with them was also sentenced to death on charges of moharebeh (waging war with God).
One of the son's of this family who became a member of the PMOI years ago is in Camp Ashraf in Iraq which is the basis of the charge of moharebeh and the death sentences for this family.
Meisam Daneshpour, another son of this family confirmed the death sentences for his family and said, "The case is currently being reviewed and the final sentence has still not been announced to them".

Iran arrests 19-year-old Christian in Isfahan

April 17, 2010 - According to reports, on Sunday April 11 a Christian man by the name of Daniel Shahri was arrested by agents of the Ministry of Intelligence in Isfahan with an arrest warrant issued by the Islamic Revolutionary Court. He was taken to an unknown location.
Intelligence agents went to his home which is located near the Loqa Church in Isfahan on April 11 and arrested this 19-year-old Christian man. They also confiscated some of his personal belongings.
His family's appeals and pursuits of his case have led to nowhere. He was only allowed one short call and said that he had been transferred to cellblock AT in the Dastgerd Central Prison in Isfahan. He also said that he had been accused of publishing lies and sacrilege.


Female human rights activist in poor health in prison
April 17, 2010 - Shole Mansouri, a human rights activist who was arrested on March 8, 2010 in an organized attack against human rights activists is in poor health in prison.
According to reports, Shole Mansouri who is former colleague of the Human Rights Activists in Iran is suffering from a blood related illness and severe influenza.


Regime official: secular university professors should be fired from universities
April 17, 2010 - A representative of the Iranian Parliament cited the statement of Ali Khamenei on Islamizing universities and said, "To produce science on the basis of divine principles, the Ministry of Higher Education should put the issue of expelling secular and dissident professors as a priority".
Zohreh Elahian stressed that professors have to abide by the framework of the constitution and the system of the Islamic Republic in the university.
