The head of Headquarter for Fighting Corruption is accused of financial corruption!

In ‘Yesterday, Today, Tomorrow’ program on Thursday Jan. 6 broadcasted from state-run TV station, Elyas Naderan an MP from hardliners accused Mohammadreza Rahimi, Ahmadinejad’s deputy and the head of Headquarter for Fighting Corruption of financial corruption.
He said: “in ‘Iran Insurance’ case all accused were arrested except one (Mohammadreza Rahimi). At first the president told us to arrest him but later the head of presidential office (Rahimmashaie) called and said that Ahmadinejad is seriously opposed to this arrest”.
Naderan revealed during the program that: “some in power financially support some MPs so that they would defend them when they become an MP”.
In another part Naderan pointed to the fact that Judiciary has threatened MPs and said: “these days on different excuses MPs are summoned and interrogated by Judiciary and are sometimes condemned”.
Naderan announced straightly: “that man (Mohammadreza Rahimi) is not a simple government employee, he is the head of the Headquarter for Fighting Economic Corruption and he has a case himself”!
In this program Mir Tajedini who had participated as the representative of executive power said that if they investigate the case of corruption this would weaken the government at the time of subsidy cuts!

SMS for Friday Prayer!

The headquarters for Friday Prayer in Tehran has sent SMSs to invite people to participate in the prayer to fill the scene.
