Taxi drivers on strike

Reports obtained by ISC from Gonbad Kavoos say that the taxi drivers of the town are on strike. They say that taxi rate is too low. It is to be mentioned that after subsidy cuts and rise in fuel price both the taxi drivers and the passengers are suffering.

On Sunday Jan. 2 about 100 workers of Khozestan Pipe Factory gathered in protest in front of Harasat building of this factory to protest their 20 months not-received wages. They have received no answer yet.

Poultry breeders on protest

On Sunday Jan. 2 more than 150 poultry breeders gathered in protest against the process of rating in front of Trade Bureau. This protest gathering closed Taleghani St. for an hour.

1200 workers on strike

1200 laborers from Alborz Industrial Complex are in strike demanding the money the complex owes them. They said that they will continue their strike until their demands are fulfilled.

Families in protest in front of Evin

On Saturday Jan. 1 a group of families of political prisoners and detainees of the uprising gathered in protest in front of Evin Prison expressing their concern about prisoners in death row. They demanded visiting them.
They stood up in front of the pressures and offences of regime’s intelligence agents and clashed with them.
At least three of protestors were injured.
