Head of SSF attacked in Cheram

Residents of Cheram City in Koohkiloyeh & Boyerahmad Province clashed with suppressive SSF agents in the city and severely injured the head of SSF of the region at 5 pm Sunday Jan.2. The clash lasted till 7 pm.
The head of SSF was transferred to Ahwaz Hospital. In Fear of the spread of the clash SSF closed the entrances to the city and was stationed throughout the city.

‘Get lost’ was how people drove SSF of the scene

On Monday Jan.3 when some Bassijies wanted to arrest some women on the excuse of ‘improper veil’ at Shoe Bazaar, the crowd and the shopkeepers clashed with them. SSF meddled arousing the wrath of people. The crowd booed them and chanted ‘SSF get lost’ and in this manner the suppressive agents were drove out of the scene.

Dervishes of Gonabad resisted; freed their Sheikh

The suppressive forces attacked the house of one of Gonabadi Dervishes in Foolad Shahr at 00:30 am on Monday Jan. 3 and arrested their Sheikh Mr. Seyyed Morteza Mahjoobi around with five of his comrades and transferred them to Isfehan’s Central Prison. During the raid they beat all those in the house including the ladies and injured some.
Hearing the news his supporters from Isfahan and other nearby townships gathered in protest in front of the prison. The suppressive forces drew gun at them to disperse them but they resisted and stayed put.
After 5 hours of resistance, regime had to free the Shiekh and his son. But others who were arrested are still at prison and their supporters are still going to join the protest gathering in front of the prison.
