Tehran 9:30 am – Outside the Tehranpars mourning station in Jashnvareh Street, when a mourning group intended to enter the station, security forces prevented them because they did not have a government appointed head in the mourning group. Therefore, the mourning group started chanting slogans such as ‘Oh Hossein (Imam Hossein for whom they are mourning for) Iran has turned into Karbala’, and ‘death to dictator’. Three people were arrested in these clashes.

According to reports, Bassij forces are equipped with pepper spray, poniards and daggers. Parking cars in Enqelab Street has been banned and all plastic trash bins have been rounded up and taken away. All public phones booth doors have also been locked in Enqelab Street.
