Kayhan daily, Khamenei’s organ, wrote in its ‘political note’ titled ‘a mourning letter for resolution’: “a few days before and a few hours after the resolution was approved some US and European officials emphasized that this resolution aimed at supporting the rioters after 2009 election. Letters written in Vienna and approval of 1929 resolution are two scenes of west’s scenario in regard with our country’s nuclear program which shows the issue is far above nuclear issues”.

Mullahs fear the resolution 1929
Tehran, June 23, 2010
Islamic Republic’s daily affiliated with Khamenei showed in its editorial titled as ‘we and the issues of fourth resolution’ how the clerical regime fears this resolution. It wrote: “just a few days after the fourth resolution was approved in UN’s Security Council some European countries announced that they don’t count the sanctions mentioned in the resolution as enough. They demanded more sanctions and harder pressures.
The tendency of these countries for surging pressure against Islamic Republic shows that US does not have only one leashed dog in Europe but other countries are overcoming Britain in that regard.
It is a matter of astonishment how Russia and China took side with US for the fourth time. They just asked for more, then complied with US”.
