PMOI has issued a statement on May 28, 2010
calling for the uprising on June 10-20
The call reads in part:
PMOI’s call for uprising on June 10-20;
The day of those fallen for freedom,
The day of political prisoners,
The beginning of the 30th year of resistance against the rule of Supreme Leader and the nationwide uprising.
The call continues:
Compatriots;
Freedom loving men and women,
Youths, students, workers of the nationwide uprising,
Brave strugglers,
The dictator sheds blood. Strangled in crises and in fear of the month of uprising, khamenei has once more started mass executions.
This blood thirsty dictator is not in power except with the help of gallows and cranes but the army of uprising for freedom with its uncountable heroes will not stop.
People of Iran are all ‘Moharebs’ fighting this despicable and illegitimate regime.
Khamenei has lost his power on the last days of his rule.
The broken talisman of Supreme Leadership has no solution, and schism within the regime will not heal!
The desperate dictator is stuck in nuclear trap and is striving in global isolation! ...
Then the statement calls on people for uprising on June:
At the wake of June 20, the day of those fallen for freedom and the day of political prisoners, the 30th anniversary of resistance in front of the rule of the Supreme Leader, and the nationwide Uprising, to commemorate those who gave their lives for freedom –from Khordad (May 22 – June 21)of 1981 till Khordad of 2010- we will rise and by crying for freedom which is the cry of all Iranians we will show the enemy that ‘we are all one voice, we are all a Neda’!
We will echo the slogan of ‘death to the principle of Supreme Leadership’, ‘death to dictator’ and ‘long live freedom’ everywhere!
We will tell the world that we will not withdraw until the oppressing system of Supreme Leadership is overthrown and the rule of the nation prevails.
The free women and men of Iran will rise on June 10 -20 every where to “raise high the flames of protest, uprising and liberating resistance against the dictatorship throughout the occupied homeland”; as the leader of the resistance put it.
The call then points to the increase of suppression by Khamenei to provoke fear and horror and continues:
The reason of all the dreadful acts of the Supreme Leader of this reactionary regime at this time interval is clear for every one and we have had experienced it for several times. But people and youths of Iran from Tehran to any corner of the world will not retreat.
They will challenge the enemy saying ‘come, come’ as the sign of the pick of braveness and love for freedom of a nation who has willed to gain its freedom at any price.
‘We are all together, we are undefeatable nation’!
‘We are the women and men of fight- fight and we will fight back’!
Victory is ours. The dawn is near.
