A pastry shop belonging to Mr. Payman Javanmardan in Ferdosi Street that was closed and sealed after the general strike was opened on Monday June 14 but Mr. Javanmardan was arrested at 7 am by regime’s agents.

After half an hour Especial Guards Unit’s forces blocked their way to the buildings and in a counter act the protesters sat in the street causing a heavy traffic.
An old man chanting all the time addressed the forces and shouted: “who dare you say the names of the profit and Imams when you take our homes away from us by force?
The protesters then marched towards prosecutor’s office. The forces tried to stop them but in vein and the protesters continued their protest.

Tortures last for hours and they are beaten with batons both ordinary and electric.
Amongst the prisoners being subject of this kind of treatment during last days are Hasan Sharifi, Ghaisar Ismaili, Javad Zare, Ahad Fatahian (his nose is broken due to tortures), Saman Mohammadi and many others.
Kermani and Faraji the head and deputy of Intelligence of this prison are present most of the time in the torture chambers of ward one. They join Hasan Akharian the addicted head of Gohardasht Prison and Mirzaee, Shirkhani, Mohammadi and Zainali all from RGC to torture the innocent prisoners.

State run media reported that two Bassijies were attacked on dawn of Sunday morning June 14 in a village in Kazeroon and shot at. One of them died at the instant and the other was transferred to hospital.

At 1650 clashes took place between the crowd and regime’s security agents at the entrance at least 30 were arrested and tens were injured. - About 1000 people gathered on June 15 in Beheshte Zahra Cemetery to pay their tributes to those who gave their lives last year on June 15 in the nationwide uprising. The crowd went by graves of Sohrab Arabi, Ali Hasanpoor, Ramin Ramezani, Mohammad Kamrani, Ahmad Naim Abadi, Mohammad Chegini and etc and put candles and flowers over their grave. When the mother of Neda Agha Soltan wanted to go to Ali Hasanpoors grave to pray SSF blocked her way and made her to leave the place. On each grave as the ceremony started the agents approached the crowd and told them that they can only pray and must do nothing else. The crowd was told that if it got uneasy everybody present would be arrested. When Ali Hasanpoor’s brother wanted to speak about him he was warned that he is not allowed to do so but he ignored the warning and talked for 10 minutes about his brother. The gathering lasted from 4 to 7 pm. Security agents and intelligence agents wearing masks taped the graves and its surrounding.

Criminal prosecutor banned any visit for political prisoners

In a directive issued by Tehran’s criminal prosecutor all in person visits for political prisoners in Evin are stopped till further notice.
The directive says that from now on the prisoners can only have cabin visits talking with their visitors on phone.
The directive also says that from now on in person meetings with political prisoners is only allowed with the especial permission of the prosecutor. Even with this permission, sisters, brothers and children of the inmate will not be allowed to participate in the visit.
This measure aims at stopping the transferring of messages and writings of the prisoners to the outside world.

The interrogators of Intelligence Ministry are putting pressure on Mr. Ismail Abdi, a teacher and an active member of Iran’s Teachers’ Guild to confess against the other members of this guild.
Mr. Abdi is threatened that if he refuses to confess he will face heavy decrees.
It is more than two weeks that Mr. Abdi has been arrested. Mr. Abdi is a teacher in Mathematics with 18 years history of work in Tehran’s schools.
He is accused of interviewing with foreign media, protesting against conditions ruling the country, pursuing teachers’ guild’s rights and defending Farzad Kamangar (Kurd political prisoner executed on May 9).

Families of those fallen for freedom in last year’s June uprising gathered in section 257 of Beheshte Zahra Cemetery to commemorate them. Mother of Neda Agha Soltan too is present at the ceremony. People joined the families to hail and praise those who gave their lives for freedom of Iran.
Around Ramin Ramezani’s grave a huge crowd has gathered and a great number of SSF is present surrounding the crowd.

Hunger strike in Sanadaj Sanandaj, June 15, 2010 On Tuesday June 15 students in Kurdistan University students went on hunger strike and left their food trays untouched on the tables. This protest is held against the execution decree for 16 Kurd political prisoners, secret burying of Farzad Kamangar and other four executed political prisoners on May 9 and for Commemoration of Kianoosh Asa and Sohrab Arabi fallen for freedom on last year’s June uprisings. The clerical regime confesses to a part of vast arrests of June 12

Though the clerical regime tries to censor any news of people’s uprising, by announcing vast arrests including 90 in Tehran admits to the continuation of the uprising.
Sajedinia the head of Tehran’s SSF in his absurd contradictorily words said: “on June 12 nothing especial was reported in Tehran, 91 were arrested as suspects in that regard and were introduced to judiciary organs”.
It is to be mentioned that the number of detainees of the uprising on June 12 in Tehran and other cities is hundreds. In one case due to protest gathering of the families of detainees in front of SSF base the clerical regime had to free about 100 people on Sunday’s morning.

The clerical regime fears the day and thus is covering Beheshte Zahra Cemetery with its suppressive forces especially Tehran’s Especial Police Units. Following today’s protest of 1000 students of Tehran University at the anniversary of the raid at the dormitory last year which led to death of five students, 300 arrests and a great number of injured students the clerical regime has deployed about 200 of its suppressive forces to the location of the dormitory and has stationed them since 1915 in street 15 of Amirabad. This street is exactly in front of the dormitory. The forces are still stationed there at 2110.

On June 14 about 200 family members of detainees of June 12 Uprising gathered in front of Evin Prison demanding the freedom of their beloveds. They unanimously said that their beloveds have been arrested without reason:
- Father of Porya Ali Akber 25 having his son medicine in his hand said that Porya has epilepsy and wanted the medicine to be given to his son if he is transferred to Evin.
- Families of Farnoosh Vefghi and Azam Akhlagi were looking for their daughters who were lost on June 12 but they received no answer.
- Family of Daryoush Ebadi who was arrested groundlessly in Enghelab Ave. was looking for him in Evin.
- A 45 years old man was looking for his 65 years old mother and her daughter. He said they were just walking in the street but they were arrested on no reason and taken to unknown location.
- A young man said that his fiancé and sister have been arrested arbitrary in the street on June 12. He too received no answer from the henchmen of Evin.
- Some families said that their children of their friends have been beaten and arrested just because they had taken their cell phone out to talk.
The gathering lasted till after dark.

As people took into the streets on June 12 and the universities roar in protest to this regime answering the call of PMOI for uprisings on June 10-20 the clerical regime is taking revenge by finalizing the death penalty decree for two PMOI supporters Mr. Mohammad Ali Aghaee and Jafar Kazemi.
Their lawyers had formerly said that they are deprived from a copy of the decree so they cannot appeal a revision for it. After a tedious quest at last they have been able to get hold of a copy of the decree and now they had filed their appeal.

On Sunday at noon the house and office of Ayatollah Montazeri and his son’s home were attacked by Plainclothes. The windows were broken and the attackers called them “Hypocrites” (the name that regime used only for PMOI members till the year-old uprising of Iran).
Saeed Montazeri, Ayatollah Montazeri’s son counts that has the consequence of Khameni’s secret visit to Qom on June 12.
Saeed Montazeri said that first Ayatollah’s Sane-ee’s house was surrounded and attacked at 4 am (Sane-ee had taken Khamenei under question after the uprising started) and then Karrob’s car was attacked when he came to visit Sane-ee.
Plainclothes chanted ‘Qom is no place for Hypocrites’.
Montazeri’s office was then sealed by the decree of Especial Court of Clerics.

Iran harasses and detains ‘improperly’ dressed women in airports

The head of Iran’s Airport Police said that 3,506 improperly dressed people were (forced) to sign pledges (not to dress in that way) in the first 82 days of the (Iranian) year.
“The police in airports all over the country will even prevent improperly veiled people who come to welcome their guests to the country from entering the airports”, he said.
This police official said that the airport police will prevent improperly veiled passengers from continuing their travels and also reported that 112 women and 210 men were arrested by the airport police for not following social norms in the first 82 days of the Iranian year.
“The airport police prevented the travelling of 71 women who did not have proper veiling and they were introduced to judicial sources”. (ILNA state-run news agency)
Ailing teacher deprived medication in prison

The physical condition of Ali-Akbar Baghani, the Secretary General of the Iran Teacher Center, is unsuitable in prison and prison officials have deprived him of treatment.
Baghani is in poor condition because of the deterioration of his prostate illness but prison officials refuse to allow him to receive the necessary medication.
This retired teacher was under medication before his arrest.
Ali-Akbar Baghani was arrested on the morning of April 28 after security forces stormed his home and was taken to prison.
Intelligence agents storm home of slain political prisoner, harass and threaten family

According to reports, agents of the Intelligence Agency stormed the home of slain political prisoner Amir-Hossein Heshmat Saran, conducted a search and interrogated and threatened his family.
On Monday, June 14, at about 12 pm, six intelligence agents stormed the home of Saran. They checked this family’s phone book and asked questions about the names of the people in the book.
These agents also asked Elahe Nazju (Amir-Hossein Heshmat Saran’s wife) about the whereabouts of her son Babak. This is while Babak Saran was arrested on Saturday in Tehran by security forces and taken to an unknown location. There has been no news on him since his arrest.
These agents tried to put mental pressure on this family and told Elahe Nazju, Babak’s mother that, “A person who is against the revolution deserves all this”.
Iran takes away political prisoners’ visitation rights

The prosecutor of Tehran has cut off all in person visits of political prisoners in Evin Prison for an unlimited time period.
According to this order, from now on, the families of political prisoners are only allowed to visit their loved ones in prison from behind a glass partition, meaning they can talk to them via a telephone.
Ordinary prisoners are allowed in person visits once a month but this right has been taken away from political prisoners.
Families can only have in person visits with a special order from the prosecutor.
The children, sisters and brothers of prisoners will be banned from in person visits even if their families have obtained the right of in person visits from the prosecutor.
According to reports, these limitations have been put in place to prevent prisoners from giving out messages or notes to sources outside of prison.

Two students were arrested after a call for a peaceful protest by a pro-democracy student association in the Razi Kermanshah University.
The Protection Department of this university summoned four students and handed over two of them to the Kermanshah Intelligence Agency.
Aptin Pegah, a physics student and Babak Ghiasi who majors in agricultural engineering were arrested yesterday and there is no information on their condition and whereabouts.
Labor activist taken to Kahrizak death camp

According to reports, Mehdi Farahi Shandiz, a labor activist was arrested and taken to the Kahrizak Detention Center after going to the Revolutionary Court to collect his seized personal belongings.
On June 1, this 50 year old labor activist who is also a teacher went to the 8th branch of the Revolutionary Court to collect his personal belongings which were seized on Labor Day upon his arrest but was mistreated by the head of the court branch. He was then arrested on the bogus charge of ‘disrupting order’ after protesting this treatment and was taken to the Kahrizak Detention Center.
His family has pursued his condition since his arrest but has not received any answers and they have been told that his name has not been registered in the prisoners list.
Hundreds of protesters were taken to the Kahrizak Detention Center last year where they were violently tortured and abused and at least 4 detainees were killed.
Despite announcements that this detention center had been closed down, its seems that it has once again secretly become active. Political prisoners and other prisoners who are taken there are at risk of brutal tortures and their lives are in danger.

Mohammad Mostafayi, the lawyer of Sakineh Mohammadi Ashtiani: Sakineh Mohammadi Ashtiani is suffering day and night at the Tabriz Prison since she was jailed in 2005. She was sentenced to being stoned to death. Sakineh Mohammadi requested amnesty twice and has announced that she has two children, a boy and girl, waiting for her outside of prison. She has also said many times that she is innocent. She could be stoned to death at any moment.

Khamenei and Ahmadinejad ready to run away Tehran, June 14, 2010 The defected RGC member Mohammad Hossein Torkaman who formerly controlled security of logistics to Khamenei and Ahmadinejad’s offices revealed that Khamenei and Ahmadinejad had been terrified from the uprisings ready to leave the country for Syria in case of regime’s downfall. He said that Khamenei’s 330 Airbus was ready to take them out.

During June 12th Uprising more than 900 protesters have been arrested at least 300 of them women. So far about 300 of male detainees have been transferred to Evin Prison’s Quarantine and from the number of buses transferring female detainees to Evin it can be estimated that about 100 women have been transferred there too.
At 2 am June 13 about 30 of the detainees about 20 to 25 years old were brought to Enghelab Sq. by vans and released there but on the other hand at 3 am ‘Prevention Police of Tehran’ in fear of the continuation of the uprising arrested 30 women and 60 men and transferred them to unknown locations in vans.
Eyewitnesses said that the detainees are either transferred to Evin Prison of Vozara Detention Center after their file is opened.
Also yesterday after students of Razi University in Kermanshah called for a gathering 4 of them were summoned by Harasat .Two of those Aptin Pegah a Physics student and Babak Qyasi a student of Agriculture Engineering were handed over to Kermanshah’s Intelligence Bureau.

Eyewitness No.1: At 4 pm after the exams were over more than 1000 students chanting anti regime slogans started the gathering. All of a sudden Harasat of the university started viciously beating the students with batons. This time instead of opening the university’s door for Bassijeis and Plaincloths to raid us Harasat engaged itself. It tried to separate a student from the crowd and then beat him viciously taking him or her to an unknown location. SSF vans were too many around the university. Even gunshots were heard from in front of Art Department which made the students severely angry. Tehran University was very uneasy’.
Eyewitness No.2: was at university today. It was like resurrection day. Harasat forces and some forces that were new for us hit us with batons. If someone got separated from the gathering he or she was thrown on the ground and hit by fist and baton and kicked. I saw several cases that these beasts grasped the hair of girls and threw them aside. But students bravely resisted and helped the trapped one. Fearing that our protest might take into the streets Guard Forces and Plainclothes surrounded the university. They beat people and used tear gas to prevent people outside to get close to the university. I was hit with baton but regime must know that we are uncountable and we cry loud: ‘we sacrifice our lives for Iran’.
Eyewitness No.3: This was another shock to the government of crime. They brought thousands forces into the streets but people showed them that the movement is much stronger than what they think.

The fast speed buses in Tehran (BTRs) witnessed on June 12 great number of protesters 200 in each round who had come to join the uprising. They traveled in the buses to find the appropriate point for joining the other protestors. They chanted anti regime slogans all through the way.
URGENT NEWS ON IRAN - JUNE 14, 2010 - Anniversary of June Uprising Tehran- June 14, 2010 - At 1500 students of Tehran University gathered in protest in front of Engineering Department to commemorate the raid at Tehran University’s dormitory June 14 of last year (in which 5 students were killed 300 were arrested and too many were wounded). Harasat is lining in front of the students and intends to attack them. Students are holding the pictures and scenes of the attack and are chanting anti regime slogans. - At 1530 numerous Plainclothes are standing by the main door of the university. They are being deployed there by bus. Plainclothes are also deployed inside the university. Security atmosphere is strangling. Number of students is about 500. - At 1530 some Students tried to move towards the entrance in Amirabad St. to join the protesting group but the agents have closed the door and are preventing students to enter. The high number of plainclothes is noticeable. - At 1530 the number of students in front of Engineering Department is more than 500. Students are chanting ‘death to Khamenei’. - Harasat and Bassijies are fully covering Meli University (Beheshti University) and surveillance cameras are controlling the students. - Behzad Haidari a former member of Islamic Association of Amir Kabir University and a students of Ship-Construction Engineering who participated in protests on June 12 around Enghelab Square is arrested and there is no news of him so far. He was participating in the protest with some of his friends. They were raided at by Especial Guards forces but he couldn’t escape. - Families of detainees of June 12th Uprising gathered in front of Evin Prison in protest on June 12 and today demanding a clear status of their beloveds. In the list of the detainees only a few names is seen. The record of those whose name is in the list is referred to the kangaroo court of so-called Revolutionary Court. Tehran, June 12
- At 10 pm in front of Enghelab Metro Station Plainclothes arrested a young man who was taping the scene. They blindfolded him and took him to an alley behind the station and beat him hard.
- During June 12 Uprising regime agents used cameras with strong lenses and took films from all directions from above the buildings.
- Last night residents of Zaferanieh region north of Tehran chanted ‘Allah O Akbar’. Following the event about 20 construction workers in a near by complex at the beginning of Asef St. were attacked by a two teams of two of suppressive forces riding motorbikes and were beaten.
- SSF took four youths at north wing of Enghelab Square, blindfolded them and took them in a silvery car to an unknown location.
- In yesterday’s uprising a girl elementary school between Enghelab and Taleghani Streets and the mosque at Enghelab Sq. had turned to bases for regime’s security forces and Bassijies.
- On June 12 Intelligence agents raided on Mr. Reza Shahabi’s home and arrested him taking him to an unknown location. Mr. Shahabi is a member of Tehran’s Bus Driving Syndicate.
- In Vali-e-Asr Intersection a protester was beaten and bled from nose and mouth they sprayed him with a gas and took him out of the scene making him to sit between to Bassijies on motorbike. Plainclothes were very vicious much more than SSF.
- In front of the mosque in north-west wing of Enghelab Sq. a man was being beaten to death so hard that even a Plaincloth shout stop you are killing him in front of the mosque. But they took him inside the mosque.
- The suppressive agents had blocked front of Tehran University with 150 buses.

Karaj, June 12
In Gohardasht and Azimieh regions of Karaj a 2000 strong crowd had gathered in protest. Youths threw stones at suppressive forces and chanted anti regime slogans.
Rasht, June 12
Around 1830 to 1930 about 300 students gathered in Rasht’s Primary Science and Mikael Intersection and chanted death to dictator. By the start of the slogans Plainclothes raided on students and dispersed them. 20 students were arrested most of them probably were from Rasht’s Azad University.
Mashad, June 12
Residents of Mashad chanted Allah O Akbar on June 12’s night.
Tabriz, June 12
On Friday night male dormitory in Valie-asr and Imam Township in Tabriz chanted ‘Allah O Akbar’. Harasat agents raided on the dormitory and clashed with students. Some forces tapped the scene.

The number of SSF, Plainclothes and anti-riot forces around the town was up to 10 times the other days. These forces dispersed even four people gathering together and didn’t let any kind of gathering to form.
Rasht, June 12
A group of students wanted to form a gathering in front of Primary Science Departments to move towards Municipality Square from there but Plainclothes attacked them. Security atmosphere of the university was too high. 6 of the students from Technical Science Department who wanted to join the gathering were arrested and taken away. One of them is called Reza Asheri.

- At 2200 a group of women gathered in front of Jameh Mosque holding placards reading ‘Montazeri, cry, cry’.
- From 2 to 6 pm Plainclothes gradually flooded the Enghelab Square and since 6 pm Bassij motorcyclists and on- foot SSF joined them. In most regions the number of Bassijies was more than people present. Cars honked their horns in protest.
