People’s attack to torch regime’s gas company

Khoramabad- March 6, 2011
On March 2 residents of Khoramabad gathered in protest in front of regime’s gas company in Khoramabad and tried to torch it.
In fear of the act a great number of SSF were deployed to the scene and dispersed people by force.

Students of Engineering Department on protest

Tehran- March 6, 2011
Since March 5 the students of Engineering Department of Tehran University went on strike in protest to the arrest of two of the students of this department and didn’t attend classes. The strikers said that this strike will continue every day since 11 am until these two students are freed.
They said that in future days the strike will be more widespread.
The start of the strike was on March 5 at 11 am in front of Amirabad Pardis Building. The student sang the unity song of students and chanted ‘political prisoners must be freed’ and ‘students will die but will not surrender to oppression’.
The organizers were taken to the Harasat of the university.

Students protest in Semnan

Students of Semnan University used the opportunity of an exhibition at the university and started a protest chanting anti-regime slogans.

Teacher Training Univ. students write statement to salute Iranian people’s resistance

Tehran-March 5, 2011
A group of students from the Teacher Training University published a statement and saluted the resistance of the Iranian people in the face of armed security forces and asked the people not to cease their efforts until the downfall of the government and the final victory.
These students stressed on a non violent struggle and nationwide strikes and said that ‘this kind of struggle will lead those who were on the sidelines until now because of the high price of the struggle to join in”.
“On the other hand, this kind of struggle will disclose the morally corrupt nature of the government”.

Protester under torture for false confession
