Iranian regime terrified over Feast of Fire uprising

The head of the Kermanshah State Security Forces said, “Those who disrupt the peace in any way on the last Wednesday of the (Persian) year (Feast of Fire), will be the guest of the judiciary and security forces until the end of the holidays”.
“People will be prevented from gathering in specific locations on this day”, he threatened.

Judiciary spokesman reveals widespread arrests in Iran

According to the state run Mehr News Agency, Mohseni Eje’ie, the Judiciary spokesman acknowledged the widespread arrests in Iran and said, “250,000 cases are referred to the courts in Iran every month. This is while the judicial system still has a shortage on judges and employees”.
“In the first 6 months of this (Persian) year, one million and 506,042 cases have entered the courts. This is while 280,000 cases were still not seen to from the year before and we still have not counted the cases for the second six months of the year”, he said.

Two SSF vans torched

On March 1 uprising in Tehran at 1900 close to Enghelab St. following the raid of suppressive forces at the protesting youths, two vans of SSF was torched by angry youths.
At Roodaki St. youths threw handmade grenades at suppressive forces.

Some detainees of March 1 Uprising were taken to a school called Ayatollah Saiedi at the intersection of Fatemi and Vali-e-Asr Streets and then transferred from there to prison.

Distributing sweet for Khamenei’s fall

On March 1 Uprising the participants bought sweets and distributed them amongst other protesters saying that we want to celebrate Khamenei’s death.

Arrests on March 1 uprising

Eyewitnesses said that on March 1:
- at 1730 between Navab and Enghelab Streets two young boys were arrested and taken away in a mini-bus.
-at 1800 in Azadi Street near Enghelab Sq. a young girl was taping the scenes from inside a BTR (fast bus). The suppressive forces raided the bus viciously arresting the girl, but all the women at female section of the bus attacked them back and pushed them off the bus by force. The driver cooperated and closed the door. Then everybody started chanting anti-regime slogans and drove off the scene and in this way the girl was saved.

On March 1 residents of Kermanshah gathered in protest in No Bahar St. and clashed with suppressive forces. There were also scattered clashes in the regions around Ferdosi Square.

100 protesters arrested in Rasht
Rasht- March 1, 2011
According to reports, protesters in Rasht held widespread protests, chanting ‘death to dictator’…
Security forces and plainclothes agents violently attacked the protesters trying to disperse them. These clashes went on for some time and a large number of people, especially young people, were arrested. It is estimated that more than 100 protesters were arrested.


30 male and female protesters violently arrested in Tehran’s Palestine Street

The presence of the people in Palestine Street led to violent confrontations by security forces and the arrest of about 30 men and women.
According to our reporter who was on the scene, security forces forced 10 young men who they had detained to lie down on the ground. The agents pulled their shirts over their heads and beat them.
Security forces kept male and female detainees in vans and even beat them inside these black vans. The violence used by security forces in these arrests was very unfortunate.
A young woman was violently pulled on the ground to the van. Her cries were very heartbreaking for the people on the scene.

At least 50 arrested in Enqelab Square protests in Tehran

In Tehran, at least 50 protesters have been arrested in Enghelab Square.


Hometown of Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei -- has become the scene of heavy clashes

8:10 p.m. Ahmad Abad Street in Mashhad -- hometown of Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei -- has become the scene of heavy clashes between the people and security forces. An eyewitness reports, "The clashes are severe. They're just short of firing mortar shells! The number of arrests is very high. I can say that there have been at least 150 arrests."

Arrested youths transferred to unknown location

Eyewitness of March 1 uprising: “in Enghelab Sq. suppressive forces attacked the protesters on motorbikes and beat them with batons. In continuation the crowd moved towards Azadi chanting ‘Yare Dabestani’ the song of unity.
The suppressive forces again attacked them and in Eskandari St. started arresting the youths and transferred them with mini-bus to unknown locations.

Two students arrested

During March 1 uprising two students of Science Department of Tehran University were arrested.

A student of Sharif Industrial University arrested
Tehran- March.4, 2011
Siamak Sohrabi, a student of Master of Science of Development Department of Scharif Industrial University was arrested on Monday Feb. 28 after he referred to the bureau of pursuit of Intelligence Ministry when he was summoned by it.
Siamak is a member of the board of directors of Islamic Association of this university and the representative of this association at the university’s Cultural Council.
Siamak was transferred to Evin Prison on March 1.

Suspension decrees and prevention of entering dormitory

At least 18 students of Scharif Industrial University were arrested after the Feb. 14 uprising in Tehran.
Reza Roosta Azad the temporarily dean of this university illegally banned 20 students from entering the university and 25 students from entering the dormitory.
