Iran - Hamedan– Feb. 20


In the gathering in Bu Ali Sina University in Hamedan, students chanted death to dictator and ‘Mubarak, Bin Ali, it’s your turn Seyd Ali’.

Tehran– Feb. 20

Young protesters are directly clashing with security forces from up close. The clashes went from Vanak to Mir Damad. Security forces shot tear gas at the protesters and the crowds went to south Kazroun Street where a gas station is located. They wanted to burn the gas station when security forces shot tear gas and dispersed them. The sounds of shots are constantly heard in this area.

Security forces passed through the crowds with their motorcycles and used tear gas and pepper spray against protesters and harassed them.

Protesters are moving towards the Seda and Sima (State-run TV station) building and are severely clashing with security forces and chanting anti-government slogans. The clashes in Vanak Square were more severe than outside the Seda and Sima.

Iran - Shiraz– Feb. 20

At about 7 pm, shots rang out in Namazi Square. The crowds are huge.

Iran - Kerman – Feb. 20

At about 6 pm, there were severe clashes in the Kosari Square in Kerman and the agents dispersed the protesters.

Tehran– Feb. 20

According to reports from Vanak Square, the clashes between security forces, Bassij Forces and Special Guards Forces are still fiercely going on with the people which has taken the form of hit and run tactics. According to this report, Special Forces use plastic bullets against protesters and attack them with batons. But the people are still resisting and standing their ground and are actually in control. These clashes are still ongoing.
