Downfall

Riot police go on alert in impoverished regions of western Iran

Riot police and Special Guards Forces in the State Security Forces have gone on full alert in the impoverished regions of western Iran on the verge of the implementation of the Smart Subsidy Plan to prevent widespread protests and reactions from the people. These forces have gone into full alert as directed by a secret announcement to create an atmosphere of fear and terror and prevent any kind of protests the people may have in reaction to this plan and high prices. In the past week in the Kurdistan, Kermanshah, Ilam and Lorestan, riot police carried out military marches. These forces were equipped with electric batons and tear gas and put on a show of power in groups of 30 in the main and crowded centers of these towns. These forces have been stationed in these areas and have carried out strict security measures.
In light of the high figures of unemployment and poverty in western Kurdish areas in Iran, the government is afraid of protests in these areas and has readied its forces for all kinds of popular reactions.

Basij deputy endorsed the extension of public uprising

Pasdar Ali Fazli, deputy of Basij said: this riot is like fire under ash.
He pointed to the last year uprising and said: such riot has not happened in the history of revolutions, to stop happening such riots; we have kept our conscious and explain in clear words, because our enemy is always ready to hit us.
PasdarFazli in fear of last year uprising said: we have increased our acquaintance to the outrage of last year uprising to prevent virulenceincidents like last year.

What you didn’t know about Khamenei’s trip to Qom

A pro-government cleric who is a member of the Association of Teachers and Researchers of the Qom Seminary School disclosed some of the things that were said in visits with Khamenei in Qom and said that Khamenei stressed on his support for Ahmadinejad.
Alireza Islamian said, “Some friends said some things and his holiness (Khamenei!) said in answer that ‘I have supported all the governments but this government is different from former governments and the main difference is that they do not try to make a dual government (as opposed to a unified government)’… in the past the enemy wanted to make a dual government and in some circles, some people were looking to force such a state on the government saying that the government and parliament oppose the leader which is the center of the system, but this is not the case”.
Islamian quoted Khamenei and said, “If the leader says something now, the president accepts and acts accordingly and this is a very important issue which is the opposite of what is shown and imagined that Mr. Ahmadinejad does not listen to the leader. His honor stressed that this is not the case”.
“Today when the president or a top official goes abroad, I am not worried, but I was worried before about what officials wanted to say abroad”, this cleric quoted Khamenei as saying.

Mohammad Norizade: if I have to ask for remission, I must ask the people of Iran for remission

Mohammad Norizade, (He used to work at the office of Khamenie because of criticizing the system was arrested and now is in prison) one of close person to Khamenei  who is in the prison, following writing a few critical letters to Khamenei, in a letter from prison, pointed out to the request of torturers to write a letter to Khamenei and ask for remission, he published a letter in his site and said, if I have to ask for remission, I must ask the people of Iran for remission.
Norizade in part of his letter writes: these days, prison officers of section 350 are looking for my remission, but I say it with assurance that their waiting will not reach to conclusion…   in the section 350, saw 150 flame. Burning flames which burn night and day and they melt to show our historic way, that the snake shoulder, Zahhak is being fed by brains of youths and instead of becoming wise, it is becoming greedier for power.(Referring to Khamenei).
Norizade said: my remission is not for my prison officers but is for the people of Iran.
I think no other shame is as penetrating as shame of apology. You in one side and I in the other side, you shout at me, and I am sitting silently, you are creditor, and I am loaner, you all are around me, and I am in the middle, what an arena is for me! This is the dance which is my wish, an apology dance!
Norizade adds: People of Iran, if in the world there is no good name on Iranian people I am ashamed and we are ashamed, Please forgive me and forgive us. Remission, Remission, Remission from all the Iranian people that in the name of religion, we made hate toward religion, I ask for apology from my people. I am writing this from only two steps to death. Death for us and living for you, Death Dance for me and for us and life dance for you, world and future be in your desire, my people.

A parliament member confessed about censorship of a meeting in parliament

Massoud Pezeshkian, member of medical treatment commission of regime said: what of voting and timing is this? It is about 30 years that we are speaking for poor people but we don't do anything for them; at least let us speak so that people realize that the opinion of experts of medical and treatment is different from the agreements of parliament.

Murder of the third physician in Tehran

Following the murder of two physicians in recent months in Tehran, one of the police officials told about the murder of another one.
According to regime’s news, pasdar Saberian, the head of information department of Police in Tehran, said: this incident happened in Golestan city. He refused to give more details.
Reminding that in the past two months in less than a week in Tehran, two physicians were murdered and another one was attacked and badly injured in Kermanshah.

Falahatpisheh: we do not need discussions

Falahatpisheh, member of security commission of parliament, emphasized on continuation of nuclear program and said: we are producing 20% gas so we do not need any discussion.
He added: their diplomacy is pressure diplomacy.

Bazaar merchants plan to go on strike again

Fabric merchants in the Tehran Bazaar have decided to go on strike and close their shops if the 3 percent VAT laws is implemented by the Tax Organization.
This decision has been made by fabric merchants without the knowledge of Fabric Merchants Union and in reaction to the remarks of the head of the Taxing Organization which is affiliated with the government.
“The Taxing Organization has still not dared approach merchants in the Bazaar, especially fabric merchants who are experiencing a slow business”, a merchant said.
On Wednesday, Asgari, the head of the Taxing Organization announced to the press that this week they would approach retailers from this week for the VAT and that this is law and everyone had to follow it.

Golestan miners work 300 days without wages

Miners in the Roudbar and Qeshlaq villages in eastern Golestan have said that their wages have not been given to them for the last 10 months.
According to a number of these miners, those in charge of the mine have invested in other sectors instead of paying their miners.
This is while the heads of the industry and mine sectors in Golestan say they are not aware of this issue. Also, a number of Eastern Alborz coal miners did not go to work for a few days last week because they had not received their wages in the past few months.
Work in the mines which has many dangers and the lack of wages has exhausted these impoverished workers.
Golestan has 21 active mines and in the first half of the year more than 179 tons of material, mostly coal, has been mined.

Haeri: Robbers should have their hands amputated

The head of Friday Prayers in Shiraz, Haeri, said that robbers should have their hands amputated instead of being imprisoned.
“If a person has committed a robbery and is jailed, his family might also be caught up in corruption whereas if Islamic decrees like hand amputation is carried out, it would not have any negative effects”, this cleric said.

We live in a Islamic country and we do as Qoran says, do we ask from west that why you do not become a follower of Allah? Therefore they do not have right to ask us why we do not obey the Qoran’s rule and we do not execute the convicted. You tell us 100000 people, we do as Qoran states and all the convicted will be executed.

Lawyer’s husband says jailed wife on dry hunger strike

Reza Khandan, lawyer Nasrin Sutodeh’s husband said in an interview that she is still on a dry hunger strike (refuses to eat and drink) and expressed concern over her condition. He said that if anything were to happen to Mrs. Sutodeh, all responsibility would lie with judicial and security officials.
He also said that her lawyer Nasim Ghanavi visited her in prison yesterday and said that in addition to the charge of acting against national security and conspiring and assembling she was also charged with being a member of the Center of Human Rights Defenders…
“According to Ms. Ghanavi, Nasrin has become extremely thin and was not even able to talk”, her husband said regarding her condition in prison.
Mr. Khandan who has not been allowed to visit his wife in prison and only had 3 short phone conversations with her said, “I do not know what they have done to her. When her sister asked her if she was under pressure she did not answer, as if she did not have the power to answer. Unfortunately we do not know what they have done to make Nasrin become oblivious to her own life and safety”.
