According to Mehr news agency, deputy minister of oil in discussion with a few internal and external companies including China for extending Azadegan field said that there won’t be any stop in developing Azadegan.
Mohsen Khojasteh Mehr said: at the moment the development plan of this common field with Iraq has been started and we want to increase the amount of oil production from this field. He emphasized that the policy of oil ministry in developing Azadegan field is to produce oil in maximum. He said there won’t be any stop and the early development of this field in the process.
According to reports, Iran is the first country in Opek who have accepted to give its oil sources to another country by a share of less than 50 percent. Iran has asked China to take 1 million barrels a day instead of 800 barrels. China has accepted this offer. But they have force Iran in return to buy Chinese goods with 45 % of profit rather than 20% of its profit. The change of this paragraph in the agreement was done on 2006 and this agreement will finish in 2026. The period of this agreement was extended from 20 to 35 years. Oil fields of “new Azadegan”, “Ilam” and “South Rostam” were also added to Chinese. Chinese accepted to explore and extract oil in the fields of Abozar, Dara and South Dorod. But their provision for next 35 years was to have 55% of its share and the share of Iran stays in 45%. Also Iran should pay 60% of the digging and extracting expenses for 45% income inception. But Chinese with 55% of income only pay 40% of expenses. Iran is allowed only to sell 30% of the extracted oil and the 70% will be in Chin’s monopoly to decide who to sell. The worth of these storages is estimated between 350000 to 500000 Million Dollars.

The parliament has allocated a 25 percent share in government offices for the hiring of the children of those killed in the Iran Iraq war, the children of war veterans and those wounded in the war and the children of former prisoners of war which guarantees that they will be hired without the usual age, education conditions and without passing any tests for the jobs.
On Monday, November 8, the parliament ratified a bill which guarantees more facilities and opportunities on the grounds of occupation, welfare, education and culture for the families of those killed in the Iran Iraq war and those wounded in the war of prisoners of war. According to this bill, all systems are obligated to pick at least 25 percent of their work force from the children of those killed in the war or wounded soldiers who have lost 50 percent or more of their body functions and prisoners of war with at least 5 years of prison experience. The children of those wounded in war that has lost 70 percent or more of their body functions are included in this bill. Article 28 of the Fifth Development Plan was the basis for this new bill. This article says that 100 percent of the medical bills of the Iranian regime’s mercenaries called ‘Isargaran’ and those under their sponsorship has to be paid in full, their expenses to build a 100 cubic meter residence has to be paid in full, they have to be excused from paying tuition to go to free universities and other non government centers and they have to be granted scholarships for Iranians or foreign universities. It has been years that the families of these mercenaries have enjoyed a special share in university admittance or shortened military service time or special discounts in social services. Despite all this, many Iranians say that the special shares and direct facilities and social and economical opportunities given to this group is unjust and a cause for problems in the society.
