Iran decreases oil produce

International sanctions which have targeted Iran’s oil and gas industry has caused serious problems for Iran’s oil produce. Some of these problems are the abstinence of large companies from investing in Iran’s oil production and oil field exploitation and giving Iran the necessary know how in this regard. There is also the problem of oil transportation by ship companies, and insurance and money transfer by foreign banks. Simultaneous with the decrease of oil produce by the regime Mohsen Khojasteh Mehr, Iran’s deputy Oil Minister claimed that “we will set conditions to sell our oil and those who want to buy are not exclusive”.
This claim comes while the regime is facing serious problems in selling oil and is forced to store millions of liters of oil in its giant oil tankers in the Persian Gulf. They are even forced to pay for insurance but clients have no tendency to buy its oil.

Ahmadinejad’s Africa Conference turns into fiasco

In a fiasco which the regime called the Africa Conference, Ahmadinejad said in speech, “Iran and Africa want a new order in the world to take the place of the current world order which has been created by the slave masters”.
The state-run Mehr News Agency which covered this conference said that prominent African personalities participated in this conference.
Ahmadinejad repeated his ridiculous claims and said, “Our mutual feeling is that the world needs a new management system”.

World sees regime as barbaric, Iranian state-run website admits

A state-run website in Iran admitted on Sunday that the world considers the religious dictatorship ruling Iran as a “barbaric” system, and wrote, “Westerners consider us to be barbaric human beings. … Under the influence of the enemy’s intense propaganda, the contemporary world sees us as violent beings whose criminal behaviour cannot be tamed, and making matters worse, they say that we are pursuing nuclear weapons.”
The state-run Jahan News also referred to the widespread hatred in the world against the clerical regime for its extensive human rights abuses and death sentences such as stoning, and added, “If we continue to remain silent in this regard, we would not even be able to defend our families in the future. The enemy’s next step will be to neutralize our instruments for controlling society. They want us to fear fiascos they create over human rights and their media campaigns and thus make us lose our ability to punish and control our own society.”
The article also voices fear over the effects of satellites and the internet in Iran, saying, “A significant portion of society is influenced by satellite, the internet and other western cultural products, rendering them unable to live a religious life.”

Explosion in HD unit in Imam Port Petrochemical firm

The HD Unit of the Imam Port Petrochemical Company exploded. According to the Fars News Agency from Mahshahr, a fire has started in this unit. There is still no news on the details or scope of this incident.

Deepening rifts in Iranian regime show themselves in leadership watchdog assembly

The Assembly of Experts which started today will last for two days.
Before this session of the Assembly of Experts which is tasked with monitoring the actions of the leader of the Islamic Republic, a member of this body which is made up entirely of clerics made remarks against Khamenei.
Ali-Mohammad Dastgheib from the city of Shiraz asked that this assembly in an open letter see to a number of issues in its session including the ‘actions of the leadership’. The pro-Khamenei faction of the regime has become hotheaded over the tabling of this issue and immediately after this letter was published, pro-Khamenei forces under the name of ‘Shiraz student organizations’ issued a statement demanding that Dastgheib be tried in the Special Clerical Court. A number of pro-Khamenei members of the Assembly of Experts also demanded that he be expelled from the assembly.
Another issue of concern in the session was that of international sanctions against the regime. Salami, another cleric in this assembly said that ‘the unilateral US and European sanctions against Iran will definitely have consequences… officials have to be aware of this issue… and neutralize these sanctions with their plans’.

Regime prosecutor forced to incriminate former Tehran prosecutor in Kahrizak scandal

Tehran Prosecutor Jafari Dolat Abadi identified Saied Mortazavi, the former Tehran prosecutor as the main element in the Kahrizak death camp scandal but did not name all the officials involved. A number of post-election protesters were killed under torture in this detention camp.
“We will try to refrain from announcing the names of the suspects until the court issues its verdict and the name that we have mentioned was because the media announced it before this”, he said.
He said regarding the fact that the suspects in this case are still occupying government positions that ‘our duty is only to see to the laws that were violated and you would have to ask the government about the terms in office of these people and about the responsibilities given to them’.
The law and judicial advisor of the Judicial Organization of Iran’s Armed Forces said that the Kahrizak murder case has been closed.
‘Remarks about the police being weakened if those in the security forces are implicated are actually the profession of the enemy’, he said.

Regime requests 500,000 dollars bail for American hostage

The Iranian regime released Sara Shroud, one of the three American hostages, after setting a 500,000 bail for her release.
Iran’s claim about this bail comes at a time when according to the state-run Fars News Agency.
The Iranian dictators who are famous for hostage taking and asking for money by jailing foreign citizens, has detained these three American hostages for more than a year.

Resigned diplomat of regime, demands overthrow of the regime of Iran

Farzad Farhangian, the resigned diplomat of regime in Belgium in a press conference clearly said he demand overthrow of Iranian regime.
France news agency reported: Farzad Farhangian said that he is expecting more people to separate from the regime of Iran. He supported a tough struggle against the present regime of Iran. When he was asked why this uprising should be aggressive, he replied: “yes according to recent incidents, I demand overthrow of this regime.
Mentioning that he belonged to press department of the Embassy in Brussels which yesterday his resignation was announced.

A regime’s diplomat Seeks asylum in Finland

Second rank of regime’s embassy, said in Finland: we want to show how much resistance is against the Islamic Republic. Ahmadinejad is not the representative and spoke man of Iran. Do not take him serious, he does not have any support among Iranians. If he had support, he didn’t need to change the election results. Hossein Alizadeh added: I am against the regime, and I request political asylum from Finland Government. I have had warm messages that show Finish Government will provide security for me and my family.


Ahmad Ghabel was arrested and put to Vakil abad prison

Ahmad Ghabel from the other wing of regime in referring to a court in Mashhad, he was arrested and put into prison of Vakilabad.
This was done after his speech in Najafabad and published interviews especially about the problem of executions in Vakilabad prison in Mashhad.
It should be mentioned that Ahmad Ghabel was accused of taking action against national security and publishing lies and offensive propaganda against the ruling regime and the leadership which he was arrested and put into prison.

Protest gathering of expelled workers of Azarbaijan electricity power elements

Some of expelled workers of electricity power elements of Azarbaijan in protest to expel of work held a gathering in front of Tabriz governor.
According to workers who were present in the place, company manager without any reason and unadvised expelled more than 100 workers which among them were workers with 20 years records.
The aggressive workers said: despite referring to authorities and illegal follow up, have not received suitable answer.  This gathering with promise of looking at workers problems in a meeting with governor was ended in Tabriz.

Protest gathering of Naznakh workers in Tehran

A number of workers of Qazvin’s Naznakh weaving in protest to working status held a gathering in front of central office of the factory in Tehran. These workers have not received their 6 months’ salary in 2010.
One worker said: Factory is closed for over 4 months and all the salaries have not been paid. Last night we went to industry ministry but at night they throw us out.
Another worker said: after a life time work, we have to sleep in box. There are more than 300 workers in this factory and now they are out of work for 4 months. Nobody gives us any answer.

Fired University Professor protest during Fetr Feast Ceremony

According to Reports from Shahr-e- Kurd, Central Iran, during Fetr Feast Ceremony at the end of Ramadan a fired university professor rose and protested his expulsion from work.
According to this report, numerous participants in the ceremony showed support with applaud. However, security agents arrested this individual, transferring him to an unknown location.

Youths in Shiraz ward off regime's suppressive forces

A number of young people in Iran resisted attempts by the Iranian regime’s suppressive forces in the city of Shiraz to intimidate a female pedestrian under the pretext of “mal-veiling.”
The Iranian regime causes regular nuisance for Iranian women, forcing them to comply with its veiling dictates in an attempt to control half the population. But these attempts have been met with fierce resistance by residents in various cities.
According to the state-run Jahan News website on Monday, last week when a regime agent tried to warn a female passerby about her veiling, he was met with angry protests by other passersby.
The state-run news agency added that the regime’s State Security Forces (SSF) had to get involved to resolve the matter. But, “due to SSF’s reaction, the protests became more heated.”
The duration of the protests forced the regime’s governor in Shiraz to get involved and to personally order the SSF to suppress protestors

Jailed Christian couple threatened to death and life in prison

Jailed Christian couple Fatemeh Pasandideh and her husband Yusef Nordkhani have been banned from seeing each other in prison since two weeks ago and have been threatened by security forces to life in prison and execution if they do not turn back to Islam.
Converted Christian Fatemeh Pasandideh said in a short phone call with one of her relations that she and her jailed husband were being put under increased pressure in the past two weeks.
On Saturday September 11, she made a call from Rasht Prison and said that she was barred from seeing her husband in the past two weeks and that she was under pressure to turn back to Islam by her interrogators. she said she was threatened that if she does not become a Muslim, she would be sentenced to life in prison according to Islamic laws.
On the other hand, her husband Yusef has been threatened with execution under similar circumstances if he does not become a Muslim.
They are both detained in the Lakan Prison in Rasht. According to unverified reports, Behrouz Sadeq Khanjani another jailed Christian was sentenced to death by two judges in the past few months but the third judge did not vote for his execution.

Iran expels 5 student activists from university

The heads of the Mazandaran and Babol Industrial universities sentenced five student activists to expulsion from university.
Emad Bahavar, Sara Khademi, Ashkan Zahabian, Siavosh Salimi Nejad and Iman Sediqi received their final sentences for expulsion from the Babol and Mazandaran universities in the past two weeks.

Iran transfers another political prisoner to notorious prison in Karaj

Political prisoner Hamid Haeri (PMOI supporter) was transferred to Rajayi Shahr (Gohardasht) Prison in Karaj from Evin Prison’s cellblock 350.
According to reports, Hamid (Mashallah) Haeri, 57, who was arrested on December 6, 2008 after a raid on his home, was sentenced to 15 years of prison by Judge Mohammad Moqiseh and was sent to Rajayi Shahr Prison to serve his prison term.
This political prisoner who was also jailed in the 80’s was sentenced to prison on charges of waging war with God.
Haeri is suffering from severe heart ailments and has suffered two heart attacks. There are also two stands in his heart. A short time before his arrest, he fractured his skull and suffered a brain hemorrhage after a car accident. He was also damaged in the pelvic area and was hospitalized for a long time.

Jailed teacher denied medical attention in Evin Prison

According to reports, the severe kidney ailment of jailed teacher Abdolreza Qanbari has deteriorated in the past days and his kidney has started bleeding. The infirmary of Evin Prison refrains from giving him serious treatment which has left him in critical condition.
The infirmary has told him that they are unable to treat him and that he has to receive treatment in a hospital outside of prison.
Interrogators of the intelligence agency refuse to allow him to be transferred to hospital. Qanbari has been suffering from severe kidney pain in the past few days.
Abdolreza Qanbari was arrested in January 4, 2010 in his place of work in Hesar Amin High School in Pakdasht after it was raided by agents of the Intelligence Agency and was transferred to a solitary cell in cellblock 209 in Evin Prison. He was interrogated for several weeks and was violently physically and mentally tortured during his interrogations by agents of the Intelligence Ministry. This teacher was also jailed in a solitary cell in cellblock 240 for a month after which he was transferred to cellblock 350.

Iran puts more pressure on executed teacher’s family; nephew’s whereabouts unclear after arrest

Ten days after the arrest of Azad Kamangar (the nephew of executed teacher and human rights activist Farzad Kamangar) his family’s pursuit of his whereabouts has had no result and there is still no news on this student’s whereabouts.
According to reports, the Kamangar family has been under constant pressure in the past four months and in their last measure, security forces tried to prevent the First Eid ceremony (a Sunni tradition held on the first Eid after the death of a person).
Notably, the main request of the families of executed political prisoners on May 9, 2010 (Farzad Kamangar, Ali Heidarian, Farhad Vakili, Shirin Alamhouli, and Mehdi Islamian) is to be given the bodies of their loved ones for burial.

Kurd prisoner dies under torture in Iran

According to Kurdish sources, Ravand Mohammad Ismail, an Iraqi Kurd citizen from Qale Dizeh located in Soleimanieh in Iraq’s Kurdistan was arrested in the town of Sardasht by Iranian security forces and passed away after severe torture in the Intelligence Agency.
