Sanctions’ aftermaths on clerical regime’s establishment

After the approval of sanctions in UN Security Council US, EU, Canada and Australia increased pressure on the regime of Velayat-e-Faghih by issuing unilateral sanctions.
Belongings of three regime banks namely Meli, Melat and Persian were confiscated by Britain.
These belongings worth 5.2 billion dollars and were related with two of regime’s shipping companies.
Though Ahmadinejad has claimed that these actions cause no problems for Iran’s shipping but the 27 countries, members of EU, will not accept regime’s ships in their harbors.

B.P. has directed its branches in Europe not to provide fuel for regime’s planes.
This was implemented on two of regime’s planes on July 4  & 8 in Hamburg’s airport.

The effects of sanctions are obvious now.
ILNA state-run news agency pointed to the saying of Royanian (from IRGC) and said: “our enemy can strike on us the best by the issue of gasoline. Right now providing gasoline for the country has turned into a crisis”.
A few days ago Ahmadinejad claimed: “if they impose sanctions on gasoline we will produce the amount needed in two days”.
But the authorities in Oil Company and the experts of the field say: “It is not possible to increase the amount of production of gasoline in such amount and in such time”.
Mir Kazemi, Ahmadinejad’s oil minister said: “the country will be independent on the issue of gasoline in 1392 (2013-2014) and that, only if the necessary investment is provided in the fields of oil and gas. But right now we are witnessing that the foreign countries that were supposed to invest in the development of country’s south oil fields have stopped the act due to sanctions”.
United Arab Imarets ordered blockage of 41 bank accounts belonging to Regime’s enterprises in that country. These accounts were related to the enterprises affiliated with IRGC who participated in regime’s nuclear activities.

Manager of London’s Lloyds Company limited giving insurance to any ship that carries Iran’s gasoline.

J.S.  Company from South Korea cancelled its great gas contract for South Pars gas field. As the result the general manager of inspection and supervision of oil affairs in regime’s Inspection Organization admitted: “we have shortage in injection of gas into oil reservoirs and the Oil Ministry has not been successful at all in their usage”.

An authority in Natanz Nuclear Center reminded Ahmadinejad in a letter that after the recent sanctions they are having problem in providing the necessary equipments for building centrifuges. Before the sanctions these equipments were easily provided from England. The letter says: “currently Natanz’s storage of steal is finished and it is not easy to provide for it”.

Mali Times in Germany has seen into the issue of the effects of UN sanctions on regime’s oil market and has written that regime is not finding customer for its oil and huge rented oil-ships are wondering on the Persian Gulf’s waters.
The media continues: “as an important customer, China has cut its oil trade with Iran into half...”

A great number of observers believe that IRGC who has accepted the project of phases 14 and 15 of South Pars for 2 billion dollars has neither the knowledge nor the technology for it to substitute for foreign companies.

During the last 30 years regime’s income from oil has had tripled but the living condition of people has not only not changed for better but has worsened.
All the pressures imposed by sanctions are to pull down a regime that has lost its domestic legitimacy and is unstable.

We the Students Committee in Iran believe that for stopping regime’s terrorism and construction of nuclear bomb the sanctions must intensify until the main economic assets in the hands of IRGC and regime’s elements are cut and paralyzed.


By giving away the countries oil and assets this regime has survived so far and has been able to suppress its people. If these sanctions get tougher it will put more pressure on this regime for sure.


We at the Students Committee in Iran demand all human rights organs and human loving personalities as well as European countries and US to support people of Iran in their quest for peace, freedom and democracy and impose harder international sanctions that would paralyze the terrorist regime ruling Iran.
