Brief on Massacre of Political Prisoners in Iran....

Massacre of political prisoners;
Genocide by the Velayat-e-Faghih establishment

At the anniversary of the massacre of political prisoners we remember those heroes and heroines who said no to Khomeini and were hanged because
 they cried for freedom.

One of the most dreadful crimes of Khomeini was the massacre of political prisoners in summer of 1988.

The grounds of this merciless massacre which was a dark conspiracy for an obvious génocide by the order of Khomeini were layed from years ago.

Since mid July a nationwide massacre of political prisoner started and continued from few months.
The main goal of this killing was to eradicate the political prisoners, especially the supporters and members of PMOI, who had resisted heroically during years against the medieaval tortures of Khomeini’s henchmen not repenting and not yielding to the mullahs’ regime.

In these dark days Khomeinie’s ‘boards of death’ consisted of the closest elements to Khomeini from Intelligence Ministry, Prosecutor Office and prison’s authorities concentrated on executing a plan that they had in mind since years ago and were preparing for it since a few months former to summer of 1988.

In Kangaroo courts lasting not more than a few minutes these boards ruled that imprisoned PMOI members and supporters must be hanged.

According to the testimoney of eyewitnesses who miraculously survived the massacre, the only touchstone of ‘the boards of death’ was how a prisoner expressed his or her organizational identity. ‘Mojahed’ or as they wanted it ‘Monafegh (Hypocrite)’.

Decree for hanging the political prisoners affiliated with PMOI was issued by such crulty that it didn’t comply with any known regulations of behavior towards prisoners.

The center of the massacre was in Tehran at Evin and Gohardasht Prisons but there was no prison in any city, township or village that was kept safe from the massacre.

The ‘board of death’ covered them all.

This atrocious and unprecedented killing was conducted based on a written decree and daily orders and supervision of Khomieni.

The employees, gaurds and Pasdars (IRGC members) at the prison were ordered to participate in the hangings. They were ordered to strike on the heads and chests of the hanged prisoners so that they would all be accompolices in this crime. In this manner they could not disclose the massacre.

The number of executions was so high that in transferring the bodies of the martyrs to collective graves around Qom’s Ali Abad the body of one of the female PMOI member fell down off the lorry that was carrying the bodies.

The Pasdars present arrested some of the eyewitnesses there and threatened that this should not be narrated anywhere.

It must be said that these hangings were so inhumane, horrible and cruel that even Montazeri, then successorof Khomeini protested the act saying: “PMOI represent an ideology. You cannot destroy them by physically terminating them...”

Khomeini and Khamenei were not able and will not be able to extinguish the flames of resistance.
The uprising of people of Iran showed that the fire of resistance still lies under the ashes.
The clerical dictatorship tries in vein to hush up the uprising and its cry for freedom by suppression, execution, torture and arbitrary arrests.

The irreversible breakage of the talisman of Velayat, the continuous waves of the uprising of people of Iran, regime’s continuous quest for achieving nuclear bomb and its noncompliance with the international laws well show that it is the beginning of the end of this anti human regime.

The international unity in regard with regime’s instability which shows itself in imposing hard sanctions against this regime also speaks of the downfall of this regime.

It is for sure that after the downfall the elements of regime participants in this massacre must be put on trial at international courts for all these dreadful crimes.
