Tehran, June 11, 2010
The incurable schism at the top of the regime has deepened. In an unprecedented position Rafsanjani clearly counted Khamenei responsible for attacks of his band on him.
In writing Rafsanjani’s office clearly wrote that Khomeini counted Rafsanjani higher than Khamenei and worte: “maybe the unforgivable sin of Rafsanjani is ...Imams especial care for him...”
Rafsanjani says on one hand that he supports Khamenei in his System but he says that the issue of election and Ahmadinejad is a political issue and has nothing to do with the principle of the System and Khamenei should not enter inner-party disputes.
In his answer khamenei tells him that this issue is the principle of the System and if he didn’t interfere the principle of the System would have been destroyed.
