Tehran - June 12, 2010
- At 1900 at Azadi Square clashes continued and people are telling each other that they will continue the uprising at night.
- At noon demonstrators in Enghelab Ave. were shot with paint bullets and tear gas. Four protesters were arrested.
- At 1800 the suppressive forces had closed the Mosadegh intersection and didn’t let people to move towards Tehran University. Under Hafez bridge and Ferdosi Sq people were attacked by tear gas. A great many people were in the streets between Ferdosi and Sharif University in small groups.
- At 2000 Tehran’s security police was controlling all the Café Nets to control them. If some one was present in the Café Net he or she was interrogated as why she was there. The speed of Internet is too low and the agents control them so that no one could post the clips of the uprising and its news in the internet.
- In the afternoon in 12 Ordibehesht Street when people started chanting slogans about 20 Bassiji motorcyclists who had covered their face with black masks attacked people with batons and iron rods.
