Truck owners in Isfahan will start their strike on Tuesday March 1

In answering the call for general strike, truck owners in Isfahan issued a statement announcing that they will participate in the strike. They wrote in their statements that they follow the youths of Iran to pay their share for freedom of their beloved homeland.
They added that they will not carry any load since Feb. 10 until they reach their demand, to of which is freedom of Iran from the dictatorship.

Calls for uprising in Isfahan

On Feb. 25 leaflets and CDs were distributed at night in different regions of Isfahan calling on people to participate in protest gathering on Tuesday March 1 in the city.

Increasing security atmosphere in Najafabad

As residents of Najafabad have been holding nightly protest of ‘Allah O Akbar’ for some days and Bazaaries of the city have threatened that they will go on strike the presence of security forces has raised several times in the city.

At 11 am Feb. 26 about 1000 people, families of political prisoners gathered in front of Evin Prison demanding the freedom of political prisoners.

Another group of students issued a statement for continuation of the uprising, the statement reads in part: “…We, a group of students of Teachers Training University while warning the rulers about the continuation of the current situation and while we commemorate the memory of those who fall for freedom in people’s uprising, we announce our solidarity with the families of political prisoners and we believe that we should not keep quite in regard with oppression. We announce that we are ready to participate in protest gatherings.

The call of a group of students and professors of Tehran universities for uprising

The youths of Iran are calling for the continuation of the demonstrations against clerical dictatorship in Iran. The news of protest demonstration on March 1 is being posted at the sites and on the walls in the streets:
“In Iran is again the rapture of revolution. The sun is now at the struggle with the night
On Tuesday March 1, we will take into the streets for gaining our demands and for commemorating those who recently fall for freedom. We will take into the street to show our will power to the bullies who are ruling our country.
In that regard we all must act as a media and inform our friends and acquaintances by all means to participate in these protest gathering. We must join like the drops of water that join and turn to a flood…The last days of the year is coming. We must wipe clean Iran from the oppressors and reactionaries. This is how we will clean our homes this year.
