Almost the whole Great Bazaar is closed at 8.45 am in particular Gold-sellers bazaar, Charso Kochak, Carpet-sellers Bazaar, Fabric-sellers Bazaar, Sabze Maidan, Shoe-sellers Bazaar, Saraye Booali, Abbas Abad Bazaar are closed and the merchants and shopkeepers have not opened their shops.

At 9.30 am the Great Bazaar is closed in section of Nasser Khosro, Pele Noorozkhan, Pamenar, Outfit-sellers Bazaar and they are on strike
The south region of Bazaar is completely closed. Regime’s suppressive forces were present trying to open the shops by force.
Sabze Maidan
Tehran- July 8, 2010
An eyewitness at Sabze Maidan region said: Bazaar is still closed. A great number of Bazarries in Kiloie Bazaar and Fabric-sellers Bazaar have gathered around Imamzadeh Zaid and are waiting.
The atmosphere is uneasy and it is possibility of demonstration and clashes any minute.
The number of crowd increases each minute.
