Tehran prosecutor says death sentence for 
6 PMOI supporters has been finalized


May 15, 2010 - Abbas Jafari Dolat Abadi, the Prosecutor of Tehran announced that the death sentence for Mohamamd Ali Saremi, Jafar Kazemi and Mohammad Ali Haj Aqayi has been finalized.
In answer to a question on if anyone arrested in the events after the elections was executed he said, “We requested the charge of moharebeh (enmity with God) for 10 people arrested in the events after the elections and especially on December 27, 2009 (Ashura) and three of the death sentences which were issued by a court of first instance have been upheld by the Court of Review.
“Ahmad Daneshpour Moqadam, Mohsen Daneshpour Moqadam and Abdolreza Qanbari are all supporters or relatives of the People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran and Abdolreza Qanbari directly sent reports to them (PMOI) on Ashura.  The death sentence of these three people has been finalized but they have requested amnesty”, he said.
 “Currently, we have three upheld sentences for Mohammad-Ali Saremi, Jafar Kazemi and a person named Mohammad-Ali Haj Aqayi who are all supporters of the PMOI. The connection of these three people with the PMOI is apparent and certain. They have group affiliations and were arrested on September 2009”, he said.
“It is necessary to stipulate that the sentence for 217 offenders arrested after election events has been finalized. Their appeals have also been seen to and their sentences have been finalized”, Jafar Dolat Abadi said.

Mullah Janati desperate of women’s resistance

The resistance of our homelands’ women in opposition to the suppressive plan of ‘veil and chastity’ has made mullah Janati , secretary of regime’s Council of Guardians, desperate; he asked for more suppression in that regard.
Fars news agency affiliated with RGC quoted Janati in a show gathering of Bessiji women called ‘Daughters of the Sun’ on May 14 uttering his reactionary thoughts as: “this group of people (having improper veil as mullahs put it) commit double sin and corruption they poison the society”.
Janati advised Ahmadinejad’s government to start the suppression under the disguise of improper veil from governmental bureaus and continued: “the one with improper veil educating at the university and receiving a degree then wanting to have a management position in the future, we shouldn’t expect any justice and chastity from her because she doesn’t obey the God’s law; she cannot lead the society and the country to anywhere”.

Wolves’ war for power

- Khorasan state-run daily under the title of ‘Lords of the Rings in an oil-related appointment’ wrote that there has been a position change at the head of Iran’s National Oil Company and said that this change of office has been taking place without informing the Minister of Oil.
- Qhafar Ismaili, MP from Khamenei’s band conceded that he has no hope in the clerical regime’s future and said: “we don’t know if we should be proud of our past or should we repent in that regard”?
- In another event Mullah Mojtaba Zolnoor deputy representative of Khamenei in RGC attacked Rafsanjani and said: “at the election of 2005 people didn’t want Rafsanjani so they voted for Ahmadinejad. If Mr. Hashemi follows Velayat (Khamenei) I will kiss under his shoes but Mr.  Hashemi who wanted to be the pillar of anti revolutionists must think about his own destiny. If anybody wants to be the pillar of anti revolutionists, people will take care of him”.
He also attacked Sane’ee a source of religious law in Qom (who has talked opposed to Khamenei) and said: “since Khamenei’s leadership Sane’ee’s positions changed; he had passed the red line since 1995.

Youths call for the uprising on June 20th 
Tehran, May 14, 2010
ISC members reported that the brave youths and people of Tehran in Elahieh and Ekhtiarieh regions have called for Uprising on June 20 by writing wall slogans.
They have written the slogan of “death to Khamenei; don’t forget June 20” on the walls in the streets of Dolat, Kamran, Iran, Agha Bozorgi and Miniature Complex.
They have also written the call on pieces of paper throwing them into the houses of the region.
The SSF patrol in Elahieh region intended to follow and arrest these active youths but they were on alert and the patrol failed.

Clashes in Ahwaz
Ahwaz, May 14, 2010
An ISC member reported from Ahwaz that a new wave of arrests of Arab residents of this city started when people were attending the funeral of one of political activist of Amoor Tribe who was murdered by Bessij forces at the east of Ahwaz.
The funeral turned to a protest demonstration and led to armed clashes between Arabs and Bessiji forces.

People go to Farzad Kamangar’s home to pay their tribute and condolences to Farzad’s mother but the agents by the house do not permit people to go there in groups.
The city is full of Plainclothes, Especial Unit and RGC forces.
Streets and intersections leading to Fazad’s home are under siege.
The city is still in strike and shops are closed.

Piranshahr, May 14, 2010
The city is in strike since Thursday May 13. The city was more uneasy on May 14. The strike continues. Only the bakeries are open.
Especial and suppressive forces have been transferred to Piranshahr from other cities and are stationed at the city center. There have been clashes too.

The city is in strike. Plainclothes and SSF are stationed all over the city and bother people.

Widespread arrest of Sanandaj university students after protests to executions
May 14, 2010 
 On May 12 and 13, students of Sanandaj University went on a hunger strike in protest to the execution of 5 political prisoners (on May 9 in Evin Prison).
These students strapped black wrist bands on their hands in the university cafeteria and refused to eat food.
They were threatened by the university’s Protection Department but refused to break their hunger strike. The Protection Department seized the university cards of the students with black wrist bands and on Wednesday arrested more than 10 of them.
More than 7 other students who continued their hunger strike on Thursday were also arrested. (Kurdistan Media Website)

Kurdistan human rights official arrested by security forces
May 14, 2010
The family of Ejlal Qavami, the spokesman for the Kurdistan Organization in Defense of Human Rights in Sanandaj announced today that this human rights activist has not contacted them as of 10 am today and his family was not able to contact him. We were informed at 10 pm tonight that Mr. Qavami was arrested. (Kurdaneh Website)

Two political prisoners hail the resistance of 5 executed political prisoners on May 9

Dr. Saeed Masouri (PMOI) incarcerated in Gohardahst Prison an a former cellmate of Farzad Kamangar, Ali Heydarian and Farhad Valiki paid his tribute to them in a letter from the prison. The letter reads in part: “don’t think that you can frighten us by threatening us to death…In a condition that if you want to stay human there is no way left other than suffering prison, torture and execution; in a condition that the punishment for even a drop of freedom-loving and humanity is prison, being whipped and execution what should one do?...Those who keep quiet when they here such a crime (the executions of the five) where co they draw the border line of humanity and inhumanity?... On my behalf just to say to the face of the regime as how much I am frightened from these executions I say that I am ready to be the sixth of these five”…
In another letter Mr. Arjang Davoodi a political prisoner in Gohardahst Prison commemorated the 5. Mr. Davoodi has been in one cell with the executed prisoners for long. His letter reads in part: “though their execution was not at all easy to bear but their innocent blood will uproot the oppression from the land of Iran…and see how every where has been inflamed; Iran and abroad.  From Tehran to Kurdistan, from Iraq to Afghanistan and the whole world has rioted against this crime of Ali Khamenei the Supreme Leader! Those who ordered this crime and those who executed it uselessly thought that this act will provoke a climate of fear and terror and will hush up the flame of the people of the Uprising in Khordad (May-June)”…

Political prisoner Jafar Kazemi under execution
Tehran, May 13, 2010
Decree for execution of Mr. Jafar Kazemi, political prisoner, has been endorsed at the revision court. His lawyer appealed for revision in Supreme Court but it was not accepted and there is not much time left for him to protest against the issued decree.
Mr. Kazami’s child is a PMOI member residing in Ashraf City, Iraq.
Mr. Kazemi is accused of having connections with the organization.


Identity of woman run-over by state security forces on Ashura 
May 13, 2010 - The identity of another person killed on Ashura was disclosed. Shabnam Sohrabi, 34, was run-over by a state security force car on Ashura (December 27, 2009).
Shabnam’s middle aged mother had been silent about her daughter’s death out of fear.
Eye witnesses say that a state security force car that was going at a fast speed collided with Shabnam and after going over her body a few times, crushed her under its wheels.
Her body was handed over to her family after 20 days and her family buried her body in section 86 of the Behesht Zahra Cemetery under severe security measures.
“Police had surrounded section 86 while we were burying the body and I was called several times and told that I had no right to say anything about the Shabnam’s death. That is why I stayed silent”, her mother said.

Political prisoners forced to do hard labor in Evin Prison
May 15, 2010 - According to reports, the Special Court for Clergy has announced in a new order that prisoners in cellblock 500 in Evin Prison have to do hard labor including construction work and breaking stones into small pieces. According to this announcement, those who refuse will be banned from their weekly 15 minute visit and if they protest, they will be thrown in solitary.
These rules have also been carried out in the Sepah Cellblock where well-known human rights doctor Hesam Firuzi is detained. Evin officials have refused to accept responsibility for this medieval decision which has led to the injuries and have stated that ‘the special clerical cellblocks, cellblock 209 and Sepah are not under the control of the Judiciary and Prison Organizations’. This is while according to reports, prisoners in other blocks are also forced to do hard labor including political prisoners in cellblock 350.
In answer to families of prisoners in the special clerical cellblock, Sakhayi, an official in the Department to Implement Sentences in the Special Court for Clergy said, “These kinds of punishments are because prisoners supported Kazemeini Borujerdi (jailed dissident cleric) in the unrest and seditions that were carried out 3 weeks ago in prison”.

Stealing Statues of Iran’s most famous
Tehran, May 14, 2010
The Statues of Iran’s heroes and most famous people have been stolen from Tehran’s squares; such as statues of Sattarkhan and Bagherkhan (leaders of Iran’s Constitutional Revolution) and a famous statue called ‘mother and child’.
The ‘mother and child’ statue was installed in Sanat Square of Shahrak-e-Qods and it was 50 million tomans worth; other statues’ valued 12 million tomans.
These statues were stolen using crane and cutting machines.
In Shiraz too Jame Vakil Mosque’s epigraph was stolen.
Stealing such statues in bright daylight cannot be done without regime’s suppressive organs that are always present in the public places being informed of it.
