Tehran, May 1, 2010- More than 1500 workers of Shiraz gathered in Laborer House in Shiraz in protest. They protested about the closure of the factories. A great number of Shiraz Long Distance Communication Company participated in the gathering and protested against the closure and dismissals.
Another group of protesters belonged to Zimens Company and Dena Tire Manufacturing Company.

Tehran, May 1, 2010- On April 30, 200 people gathered in Laleh Park in support of the hardworking teachers as May 2 is Teachers Day in Iran.
SSF had a heavy presence but they couldn't disperse the crowd.

Tehran, May 1, 2010- At the place of Ahmadinejad's speech in Interior Ministry a group of representatives of the workers belinging to facotries under crisis started protesting against him and rushed towards him. Ahmadinejad's security surrounded him. These representatives were not allowed to talk about their factories and the workers problems.

Ilam, May 1, 2010-
1-A laborer protester was arrested in Khayam St.
2-A group of people gathered in front of Keshavarzi Bank but the SSF rushed to disperse them.
3-In Shohada Sq of Ilam the street-sellers protested but they were attacked by SSF.
4-In Mobarezan St. there was a clash between regime's suppressive forces and protesters this morning.
5-SSF is patrolling the city since 5 in the morning. They are present in all squars and they confront any move. They are told to prevent any so-called illegal gatherings.
