This site admitted that regime’s quest for restraining people’s resistance has been defeated and wrote: “while it was anticipated that the defeated current in last years election would repent and apologize from the nation (read Khamenei and his subordinates) and compensate for its wrong doings but it seems that they still intend to continue their anti state quests in different fields”.
The site added: “as it was written in Javan (RGC’s daily) in their first step they have decided to ask their supporters to cry their illegal demands in the streets on Labor Day and Teacher Day. This decision comes at a time when the terrorist hypocrite petite group has added its voice to the heads of sedition during last days in inviting people to riot and march on Labor Day”.

By emphasizing on preserving “the power of SSF in front of people’s eyes” Khamenei admitted that people vastly disgust this suppressive force and continued: “in confrontation with some people who ruin the society religiously or on chastity issues weather it is intentional or not it must be acted decisively and in a correct manner”.

This is ‘soft war’. Hear all of you! ‘Soft war’ is no less than the political war that the enemy has started”.
“I say this because of the love that I have towards the System don’t think of the issue of veil less than the issue of subsidies. Of course I hope that the subsidy policy will be determined but we must know that the issue of veil from our point of view is much more important in the cultural field than the policy for subsidiary (in economic field)”.

Security forces raid home of student activist

April 25, 2010 -
Agents of the Arak Prosecutor's Office entered the home of Abed Tavancheh, a former student activist, and threw out the residents intending to seal the house shut.
Abed Tavancheh is a former member of the Islamic Association of Amir Kabir University who was sentenced to one year of prison by the Revolutionary Court last December. But the Revolutionary Court refrained from giving him his written sentence and as a result, Tavancheh and his lawyer Naser Zarafshan did not sign the sentence which was orally announced to them. The judge presiding over the case then illegally sent this sentence to the Prison Sentence Implementation Department without first referring it to a court of review.
After this illegal measure, Dr. Zarafshan immediately filed a complaint against the judge but with pressure from the Arak Intelligence Agency, the Prosecutor's office considered the sentence confirmed and the agents of the Prison Sentence Implementation Department raided this student's home in an attempt to arrest him (even on the countdown to the New Iranian Year).
Finally, today, these agents came to his home, (the ownership document of his home had been pledged for Tavancheh's temporary release from prison) and gathered the home belongings to seal it shut. These agents temporarily ceased their action after they were met with resistance from the residents of the house but they threatened that they will seal the house as soon as possible because they had an evacuation warrant.
The Tavancheh family is currently in a poor mental state and security forces constantly call their home demanding that they hand over their son to security forces.

Especial report : RGC graspse hold of country’s economy more than ever
In an interview with ILNA state-run news agency, Javani, the head of RGC’s Political Bureau revealed how RGC is meddling in country’s economy and getting full control over it. He said: “by accepting huge projects in Asalooyeh RGC is replacing Total and Shell Companies. We are so honored that we have reached such scientific capabilities that we can easily substitute major foreign companies for example by accepting great project in Asalooyeh instead of Total and Shell”.
Javani added: “actually since 1997when reforms took place in the country RGC adopted such attitude in which Commander Safavi too had a role. For this trend of work RGC was under attack since 1998”.
He continued: “in another word for RGC it is not different whether the threat is political or cultural or …what is important for RGC is to escalate its capability in all fields of threat so that it can confront them and defend the revolution and the country”.

Article: Hamkar Ravar Mine in Kerman
Two different groups of laborers work in this mine.
The first group members are hired ones and the other group members are those who work under contract under the management of contracting enterprises.
Situation of miners in this mine is drastically bad and they are not secured in regard with accidents that usually occur in mines. As the miners say during last two years four of them including a mine engineer have lost their lives in the mine.
The situation of a contract miner is even worse. One of them talking to an ISC member said: “these are only some of our problems that I count for you:
- continuous postponement of payment of the wages
- inadequate wage; as low as 90000 tomans (poverty line is announced by regime organs between 700000 to 800000 tomans)
- suppression of miners if they protest and they will be given harder tasks
- unequal retirement insurance
- not paying the miners’ Insurance Rights or paying it only for 20 days or less
- firing the miners when the contracting enterprise is done without paying them any bonuses or their Insurance Rights
- And not compensating the damages suffered by miners due to mine accidents for example a miner whose spinal cord was cut received nothing even his monthly wage is not paid to him any more.
It is to be mentioned that this regime has imposed most deadly strikes on Iran’s Industry, farming and economic construction by its warmongering and reactionary policies, the consequences of which are first of all great pressure on the lives of Iran’s laborers and their families.
To solve this problem there is only one solution; regime change in Iran.

A general look: Firing of laborers surges in the new year
Vast expulsion of contract workers (temporary workers) in the factories and manufacturing units since the beginning of the new year has led to a new crisis in Iran’s laborers’ society.
The new year has started with double pain and misery for millions of contract workers because they are being fired group after group from the factories and have no refuge.
Even in some units that the laborers are on contract till the end of summer they have been fired on this excuse that the manager is not able to pay them the new appointed wages.
The wave of expulsions are so severe that even a regime’s element Hassan Sadeghi told ILNA state-run news agency on April 8 as: “firing the laborers during this Norooz holidays has had a 49% raise in comparison with the Norooz of two years ago.
Sadeghi the deputy of state run ‘Laborers’ House’ in provinces’ affairs added: “if we take the firings throughout the country this value goes up to 50% increase and if we count in those who don’t refer to Labor Bureau expressing their problems this value will rise up to 70%”.
While Sadeghi points to a 70% increase on April 5 Mehr state-run news agency quoted a member of High Council of Labor who shamelessly claimed: “the minimum wage of 303000 tomans for any laborer hasn’t led to revision of work force and their expulsion at the beginning of the current year”.
The families of millions of laborers are in jeopardy due to the anti labor policies of a despotic and dictator regime.
Statements:
International call in support of Iranian laborers for Labor Day
This year, as we near May 1, International Labor Day, Labor Day ceremonies in Iran have been scheduled by the Cultural and Social Department of the Ministry of Labor. The Labor Ministry is attempting to run labor ceremonies and festivals during the week to prevent protest gatherings or demonstrations on May Day. In light of the violation of the rights of laborers by the Iranian government, it fears that labor festivals will turn into protests against Ahmadinejad and his elements.
An official in the Labor Ministry said, "Mr. Zare'ei and Kazemzadeh (the assistant and head of Cultural and Social Affairs in the Labor Ministry) have gone to the Interior Ministry to coordinate the programs for International Labor Day. We will have a Labor Week. But we will not have gatherings and demonstrations for workers and we will be the pioneers of preventing anyone who intends to use this day against the government. We have tried to obstruct the way for demonstrations and other gatherings".
But this year, in fear of any kind of protest reminiscent of the plus million demonstrations against the government (after the elections), the Interior Ministry in cooperation with the Labor Ministry intends to run the Labor Week in such a way so that workers and the people will not be able to use Labor Day to protest against the anti-labor policies and suppression of the Velayate Faqih (the leadership of Khamenei) and Ahmadinejad’s government.
An official in charge of organizing the ceremony for Labor Day said, "We will not let political issues get into our programs for the Labor House and we will not let them chant political slogans against the government and officials and cause unrest. We are very cautious. No one can misuse the programs in Labor Week for political intentions. We will not let workers enter the political scene. In the programs that we organize, we will not let anyone talk about political issues".
These conspiracies and deals on the brink of International Labor Day are being carried out even while more than 7 million Iranian workers and their families make up about 30 million of the population in Iran. In a country which lies on a vast sea of wealth and natural resources like oil and gas, these workers have to deal with hunger every day and because of the non democratic and anti-labor policies of the government ruling Iran, they are denied their minimum labor rights, political rights and other freedoms which has been stipulated in the Universal Declaration of Human Rights and recognized rights in Labor Conventions. The government wants to prevent them from protesting its policies with suppression and by sinking them deeper into poverty.

Iranian laborers are facing serious problems in the below grounds: Lack of job security - Due to the expulsion of hundreds of thousands of workers, mostly all Iranian workers are not subject to the Labor Law and have been turned into contract workers. Contract workers do not have job security and their employer can fire them at any time.
Low wages - The increase of wages is not compatible with the rise of inflation in the country. Currently the minimum wage for workers which has been passed for this year is 303,000 tomans. This is while according to government’s experts, the poverty line in Iran is 700,000 tomans and according to economical experts, the poverty line is 1,000,000 tomans which means that the minimum wage of Iranian workers is not even one third of the amount of money which is considered the poverty line.
Labor insurance - One of the main problems that most Iranian workers face is the lack of medical insurance, pension, work-related disabilities insurance and unemployment insurance. Most workers in Iran do not have insurance because they are contracted and this has darkened their future.
As we near Labor Day, we ask all Labor Associations including the ILO, and all labor unions, federations, labor syndicates, and political parties, groups and organizations who support labor rights in the world to support the workers in Iran, who are under the suppression and absolute poverty caused by the policies of the Iranian government, to issue statements in support and solidarity with Iran’s workers.
To celebrate May Day, we will hold peaceful gathering in the location and time mentioned below. We ask the International Labor Organization to support our gathering and officially announce to the regime not to prevent our peaceful gathering so that we can convey our voice to the world.
LOCATION: We will gather in Enqelab Square in Tehran and will march to the Labor Ministry and read out our final resolution. TIME: 5 pm (Tehran time)

He warned: “naturally in such a climate the forces whose presence in different sections can be effective will become disappointed. Unfortunately the meaning of ‘democracy’ is not well comprehended in our country and most of the people think that democracy means that a group should be dominant and should fight with other groups and eradicate them from the scene”.
Though the defeated fraction is complying (with Khamenei) all the time but still mullah Ahmad Khatami a member of the Board of Directors of Assembly of Experts said: “some think that coning, evil acts and lies are politics”.
Fatemeh Alia a member of Security Commission of regime’s reactionary parliament attacked Rafsanjani and said: “If Mehdi Hashemi doesn’t return to the country (he will be arrest by his arrival) he will be internationally pursuit. Judiciary System has information and document showing that Mehdi and Faezeh Hashemi were active in the sedition after the election and thus Mehdi Hashemi Rafsanjani must come to the court and his charges must be read to him. Charges of Fatemeh too must be looked into such as his brother. She must answer about what she did.

The criminal governor of the township instead of solving their problem threatened them and told the protesters that their problem is none of his business and said “go back to your work and don’t look for adventures”.
This fact made the protesters more angry especially that 15 of them were summoned and had to sign an obligation that they don’t have the right to write any complaint or to refer to the management in the township or province if they have any problem or if they are not paid on time.
These hardworking drivers are only paid 260 thousands tomands per month and they haven’t received even that in the last four months (poverty line is mentioned 700 to 800 thousands tomans by regime’s organs).
The management receives 560 thousands tomans for each driver from the municipality.

Khozestan, April 23, 2010
– Wave of laborers’ protests is covering Khozestan Province. Laborers of Abadan’s municipality, Khoramnoosh Soft Drink Company, Khoramshahr’s Load and Unload, Ahwaz Bus Driving and Pipe Manufacturing Companies gathered in protest during last week and joined the surging wave of laborers’ protests throughout Iran.
Ahwaz Pipe Manufacturing Factory fired 50 of its workers on the excuse of ‘lack of budget and work force revision’ during Norooz holidays. This unit had fired 100 laborers on last year’s Norooz too on the same excuse.
Khoramshahr’s Soft Drink Factory has started firing its laborers due to mismanagement and the large amount of money that it owes Saderat and Meli Banks, it has gone broke. This factory is closing while soft drinks manufactured in Saudi Arabia, Kuwait and Emirate are filling Iran’s bazaar in south of the country.
Domestic sources say the this factory was supposed to add a new manufacturing rail on a 100 million tomans loan but postponement of release of machinery bought from Germany led to the factories bankruptcy.
Also laborers of 23 other Load and Unload Enterprises in Shalamcheh Port went on protest. Handing the affairs of this port to a private company has aroused the danger of firing and revision in work force of at least 400 laborers of this port.
It is to be mentioned that after Norooz Holidays laborers’ protests have rapidly increased in Iran.

Arak, April 23, 2010 – Laborers of Arak’s textile industry are furious because they haven’t received any answer for their wages that have not been paid for six months. They gathered again to protest the fact that regime’s elements are stealing their wages.
Laborers of Arak’s Avangan Company, producer of communication posts with 700 laborers, protested several times against the non-payment of their wages for 8 months.
Their wages are looted by the management of the company in collusion with suppressive SSF and the governor’s system.
This time these laborers gathered in front of the factory and raised placards reading “Hossein, we despise oppression”.
Regime’s suppressive forces in fear that the crowd around would join them attacked them and viciously dispersed them tearing their placards apart.

Tehran, April 16, 2010 – 400 laborers of Sadi Tile Factory haven’t received their wages for 4 months. Each time that they go on strike they are promised with lies so that their protest would be hushed but these honorable laborers gather again in protest to gain their rights.

Kerman, April 18, 2010 – more than 40 laborers of Bardsir Sugar Cube Factory gathered in protest in front of the factory. They protested against anti laborer policies of the government. Due to closure of the factory some of them haven’t received their wages for two years.
These laborers gathered from 8 to 11 am in front of the factory and then moved towards city’s Governor Office to continue their protests there but as before no governmental official answered their demands.
It is to be mentioned that due to regime’s political interest towards countries such as Cuba, excessive imports of sugar has its consequences on domestic sugar (which will not be sold) and sugar cube companies are either facing crisis of are forced to close. As a result not only their workers loose their jobs but also the farmers of sugar beet will suffer severe damages.

Of course Iran’s Laborers will answer his lies back on Labor Day.

Tehran, April 17, 2010 –  A contractor that usually has contracts with municipality said that these days all the work that was done by private section is given only to RGC and Bassij and this is the grass root of unemployment of a great number of laborers.

Tehran, April 17, 2010 – A reporter of the state-run TV and Radio said: “we are not allowed to report from small townships in suburbs of Tehran because they don’t want the true face of the city to be revealed. We are only allowed to tape regions that they call them as ‘safe and sound’.

Ahwaz, April 14, 2010 – 35 Laborers of Ahwaz Water and Sewage Company have not received their wages since the beginning of last Fall. One of the laborers said: “we went on strike for two times but each time they ordered our expulsion so we had to go back to work”.
We have borrowed too much from different shops and they don’t lend us anything anymore how are we supposed to provide food for our children.

Uromieh, April 16, 2010 – Before Norooz regime has fired a great number of laborers of Pastorizeh Milk and Fruit Juice Factory and it is now working with have the personnel. These personnel are receiving between 190 to 230 thousands tomans only (poverty line is between 700 to 800 thousands tomans) and they work two shifts, both before and after noon.

Tehran-Pakdasht, April 16, 2010 – One of the main problems of Russell Tablo Enterprise is that this enterprise has made deals with contractors for doing its works so its laborers have too work for it in position of temporary workers without enjoying the least rights of laborers as insurance and bonuses. The manager has not given them laborers’ boons since three years ago and has told them that if they want to leave they will be paid the amount all together but each year the value of Iran’s currency falls. 20 laborers of this enterprise have been fired.

Especial report :Job security in Iran
Iran’s economy and production is doomed due to anti laborer policies of a broke clerical regime. One of the results of these policies is collective firing of laborers from different factories which has raised a wave of protests and sit-ins in the laborers sector of the society.
During last week 70 workers of Swan Cooking Oil factory were fired. One of the members of Labor Council employed in the Ministry of Labor pointed to the news and said: “each day were are confronted with at least 40 to 50 files belonging to laborers who have been fired on no excuse or this excuse that the factory doesn’t have enough income. This is a daily routine. For example in our own factory which had 400 laborers it now continues with only 120. The drop happened in only a short time interval and most of these 120 laborers are temporary ones and if there is slightest problem they will be fired.
According to regime’s laws a laborer must be substituted by another only after 25 years but the regime doesn’t comply even with its own law and this has never been practical”.
It is to be mentioned that in the meeting of members of Islamic Councils from west of Tehran with Laborers House the issue of insecured job positions of laborers and their pathetic wages were brought to attention but regime’s officials denied such problems and they prevented visits of international organs to investigate the conditions of Iran’s laborers from close.
Currently a great number of Iran’s laborers are either being fired or are at struggle for gaining back their rights and their unpaid wages. Six laborers from Haftapeh Sugar Cane factory are still in prison because of their protests.
More than half of the enterprises, companies, small workshops, and brick factories are broke and their workers are sent to compulsory and long unwanted leaves without being paid their wages.
Ahmadinejad’s government has announced syndicates and strikes as illegal
People of Iran have no hope in the clerical regime and they know that their conditions will only get better only if this regime is gone.

Statements:
NO.1: Statement of Freedom loving students of west of Tehran

The Labor Day, laborers greatest ceremony be blessed
Part of this statement reads as
:
The unity amongst and the solidarity with Laborers on Labor Day, first of May is on its way. The freedom loving students of west of Tehran hail all laborers and deprived compatriots and congratulate them on the day.
After more than thirty years the ruling regime is not obliged to even minimum international standards in regard with the situation of laborers.
In reality the hardworking laborers of our homeland despite of all physical and mental pressures that they tolerate to gain for their livings are not able to buy food for their families.
In spite all the promises given throughout these years our deprived laborers have received nothing other than poverty, misery and larger gap between classes of the society.
The official wage of laborers in year 1388 (2009-2010) is less than one third of what is announced as poverty line and even this diminutive wage has not been paid to them for months and some times a year.
More than 75% of the workers are hired temporarily and have no assurance that they won’t loose their jobs.
Day by day country’s economy and production is being destroyed and we are witnessing the expulsion of laborers.
This situation is a burden on the shoulder of all Iranians beside regime’s subordinates but it is a double pressure for the laborers….
Students of west of Tehran call on all cultural and student associations throughout the country to rise in support of laborers and laborers’ syndicates in this great day and to unit with them in their solidarity and defense….

NO.2: Statement of a group of students from Tehran universities
Gathering on fist of May the universal Labor Day
Part of this statement reads as:

I am the common pain, cry me out loud…
Part of this statement reads as:
In a condition that the wave of expulsion of laborers form factories and other work centers governmental and private, is surging since the end of last year, we students of Tehran universities will take into the streets on May 1 to support the laborers of our homeland and their trampled rights. Our righteous demands will be echoed throughout our homeland in our cry for freedom.
Terrible economical conditions have made it unbearable for most of our compatriots. This regime thinks nothing of its people’s interest in its devastating policies, instead, it uses what belongs to the people for supplying the expenses of producing atomic bomb and helping Hezbollah in Lebanon, Hamas in Palestine, Al-Qadeh in Afghanistan and 9 Badr in Iraq financially...
In such a society the gap between society’s classes has very much enlarged. Only a small percentage, all affiliated with the ruling regime, are in complete welfare and comfort.
90% of Iranians especially the laborers are striving under the pressure of a devastating poverty and cry for help.
Right now after almost 11 months of uprising the whole nation has well understood that the solution for all these doomed conditions it the eradication of the regime of Supreme Leadership.
The aware students of Tehran universities believe the current horrible condition of the country, the oppression imposed on people and all economical and political pressure are the results of one thing; the dictatorship plunders the assets of the nation, exploits it by oppression and deprives people of their political and social freedom.
Of course religious dictatorship it the worst of its kind; it hushes people under the name of religion.
We the aware youths while expressing our solidarity with the laborers announce that we will not remain silence in regard with all the inequality and discrimination.
In unity with the honorable laborers of our country we will turn the universal Labor Day to the day of protest against all these. We will take into the streets and we will cry for freedom…

NO.3: Statement of students of Khoramabad’s Azad University in support of demonstration on Labor Day
The statement reads as:

The situation of students and deprived laborers of our homelands is a lot similar. We are now in a course that we can pass with success with our solidarity and unity. If the laborers of our country become aware of the fact that we are a strong back up for them and our cry is as theirs they will ask for their rights more decisively and will put their hands in ours.
While congratulating the Labor Day we announce that we will take into the streets along with the zealous workers of our country.
With our massive presence and our protest gathering on May 1 we will cry for our freedom and our indisputable rights.

This turned to a black point in the record of US government. It is now clear what is behind the curtain of all these shows of peace, friendship, love for humans and insisting of nuclear treaties. A foxy literature gave its place to a wolf-like literature. The bloodthirsty and dominance seeking nature was revealed. They want nuclear power to rule over the world…”.

Political prisoner discloses systematic torture and humiliation of prisoners in Gohardasht Prison
April 18, 2010 - Letter of political prisoner Behrouz Javid Tehrani to the Secretary General of the United Nations:
I am political prisoner Behrouz Javid Tehrani and I have spend more than 10 years in Gohardasht Prison, one of the most notorious prisoners under this regime. I am jailed though I have committed no crime. In this time, aside from all the human rights violations that occurred when I was arrested, interrogated and tried, I have witnessed thousands of other human rights violations only in this prison.
I am a witness of 10 years of crime, torture, injustice, execution, bureaucratic corruption, the death of ill prisoners because of receiving late treatment, suicide in prison and other incidents…
In solitary cells in cellblock 2, being allowed to take a shower is considered a privilege and sometimes prisoners are not allowed to bathe for months. If the prisoner is not submissive, he will even be barred from using the restroom. There is no such thing as fresh air time in this block. Radio, TV, newspaper, telephone, visits, fresh air time and books are banned in these solitary cells.
Prisoner guards address prisoners with insulting remarks and use profane language. Being checked by a doctor is also considered a privilege and not everyone gets this chance.
I know of an aids patient in the solitary cells in cellblock 2 in this prison by the name of Daryoush Arjmand who has been detained in solitary for 2 and a half years. He has aids and it has been some time that the infirmary has cut off his antibiotics so that he would die sooner. He is not even given the ointment and rubbing alcohol that aids patients need for their wounds. Prisoner guards are even afraid to open his cell door to let him out to use the toilet and shower and no one even changes the light bulb in his cell which has not been working for a long time now.
Our cellblock is under the management of Hassan Akharian. He is a drug addict and treats prisoners with violence most of the time. Any sort of protest to his erratic behavior is met with solitary in cellblock 2. He has recently taken out the security cameras in one of the rooms in prison turning it into a torture chamber.

Banks’ system collapsed

Tehran, April 20, 2010
Due to a rush for withdrawing money from bank accounts bank’s Shetab System including cash machines collapsed last Saturday through last Monday from 4 pm on. This caused that all banking affairs relying on this system including receiving money, invoices, transferring money, payments of water, electricity, phone, gas and mobile invoices all be disrupted during the time interval.
People in charge have given no explanation for this collapse but people believe that severe lack of cash in banks has caused the self services not to work.
On the other hand when Shetab System is cut governmental employees might not notice that the payment of their wages has been postponed.
Constant cut in internet too can be another reason for this collapse.
This malfunctioning has raised reactions amongst the residents and in central regions of the city people have broken the cash machines.
