Bazaar's Strike

Strike continues in Bazaar, Bazaaris resist the suppressive forced
July 13, 2010
Tehran’s Great Bazaar was on strike on Monday and Tuesday July 12 and 13 and the stores and shops were closed.
Also Gonbad City joined the strike and the Bazaar of this city was half closed today.
Bazaar of Tabriz was also on  strike.
At 10 am on July 13 SSF and Plainclothes raided the Fabric-selling Bazaar of Tehran which is counted the heart of the strike to open the stores by force but the brave Bazaaris resisted and the suppressive forces had to retreat to Sabze Maidan.

Regime’s defeat in the suppressive plan of ‘veil and chastity’

Mullah Haeri Shirazi a member of regime’s Assembly of Experts admitted to the increasing resistance of people against suppression of women and regime’s policy of suppression and warned that SSF should not encounter women in the streets because then the whole street stands up against them and boos them.
About Ahmadinejah’s concern in that regard Haeri whom Ahmadinejad calls as ‘the teacher of morale’ of his government said: “Mr. Ahmadinejad is not against punishment. He is against wrong encounters meaning that SSF arrests a woman in the street (for her veil) and then the whole street supports the woman. That is wrong. Mr. Ahmadinejad wants SSF not to make the one with improper veil to look innocent so that she would win”.
In reaction to those members of Khamenei’s band who had criticized the imposturous claim of Ahmadinejad about women’s suppression he reminded: “of course the president is not against military confrontation with those who violate the issue of veil, are looking for cultural downfall and receive money for it”.

Regime’s element ousted from a ceremony in Lebanon

A state-run site revealed that mullah Janati (the head of regime’s Council of Guidance) who had gone to Lebanon to participate in the funeral of Sheikh Fazlollah was boycotted by Sheikh’s followers. When at the funeral regime’s board put step forward so that Janati would pray for the deceased, Sheikh’s follower transferred the body to some place else to prevent that and cried: “leave him at rest,... you had oppressed him leave him at rest”.

Naghdi babbles

In order to increase the morale of his forces Naghdi, the head of Bassij claimed: “if Americans want to attack they must take their warships seven to eight Km. further because undoubtedly none of them will leave Persian Gulf. When we talk about withstanding the enemy mostly we think of its military aspects which are of course essential in their places but today we are encountering with another aspect of war...” Then he points to the internet and its usage in the Uprising of people of Iran.

Demand for spread in ‘mullahs’ network’ at the university

Emphasizing that universities are sensitive places and have protesting potentials against the clerical dictatorship, in a meeting with his representatives at the universities Khamenei demanded spread of mullahs’ network at the universities for controlling them.
He warned about the awareness and protesting potential of the universities and added: “we can see the importance of this issue by the fact that many of our dissidents are pointing at the universities and are propagating in them...”
Khamenei said in imposturous words: “we must treat the youths softly so we can attract them and make them to obey” and then demanded for religious classes at the university to control the minds of students by it.

Mullah Taskhiri was ousted

Mullah Mohammad Ali Taskhiri who is a former member of regime Assembly of experts was ousted from his position of secretary general of ‘Assembly for Bringing Religions Close Together’ which is headed by Sheikh Yousef Gharzawi.
He claimed that he had resigned but he was actually ousted because of her negative role amongst the Islamic countries.
Mullah Taskhiri is one of the main elements of export of terrorism of the regime.
The clerical regime also wanted to sign a common statement with Mr. Gharzawi but because of regime’s quest for provoking disputes amongst Shiites and Sunnis the Sheikh didn’t comply with the act.

People are drowning in poverty but what is important is security!

Mullah Vahid Khorasani conceded that girls and boys of Iran are getting corrupted because of the poverty covering the whole country but he showed how much mullahs are more worried about regime’s security from fear of downfall and said: “...what is most important is the security... this means security is a priority in comparison with people’s poverty”.


Resistance

7th anniversary of Zahra Kazemi’s murder

Seven years after Zahra Kazemi an Iranian-Canadina Journalist was arrested and tortured to death by regime’s henchmen in Evin Priosn while taking pictures of protest gathering in front of Evin her murderers are still unpunished because of “the culture of immunity of punishment” in Iran. The lawyers of Stephan Hashemi’s lawyers (Mrs. Kazemi’s son) were not permitted to call any of the high rank officials accused in the murder to court.
Mrs. Kazemi was killed by then Prosecutor of Tehran, Saeed Mortazavi due to his hard stroke at her head on July 11, 2003. Despite her son’s demand her body was not handed over to Canadian government. Her mother announced after her death that she was under severe pressure by regime to comply with her burial in Iran.


Suppression

A five years term for a female political prisoner

Mrs. Nahid Malek Mohammadi 59 and mother of two, received a term of 5 years along with corporal punishment after 6 months of detention on no bases.
Mrs. Malek Mohammadi was detained during the Ashura Uprising at 2 am after her husband Ali Asghar Mahmoodian was arrested and was transferred to solitary cells of Evin Prison.
Mrs. Malek Mohammadi was also arrested years ago in July of 1981and was tortured and beaten for 20 days in Pole Roomi Detention Center. In these 20 days she has been kept amongst addicts and dealers of narcotics and was subject to sham execution in the lands around Azadi Sport Complex while being pregnant. Then she had been transferred to Evin Prison and kept there for 16 months and freed on Fall of 1982. Her baby was born in prison.

A fired teacher arrested in Kurdistan

Nemat Asadi a fired high school teacher was arrested by security forces and transferred to an unknown location. The agents confiscated his computer, books and notes when they arrested him at home and threatened his family not to talk about the event.
Nemat worked with Jivar weekly and was arrested before charged with acting against national security.

Female prisoners deprived from minimum cooling facilities in Tehran heat wave

While the government has closed everything down in the country for two days under the excuse of excessive heat, the room which belongs to female political prisoners in Evin prison has no cooling facilities and they are even deprived of cool water.
According to reports, the lack of water and cooling facilities, though it is not a new issue in this cell, has led to serious problems for prisoners and they are not able to move about and have become heat stricken and weak, because of the serious raise in temperatures.
The increase of the number of prisoners in the cell has also increased the heat and has put more pressure on prisoners.

No news on detained Christian couple

There is no news on the condition of a detained Christian couple, Behrouz Sadeq Khanjani and his wife Fatemeh Kajouri.
Security forces have banned them from calling their families. These forces went to their homes and told their landlords that they had ‘security problems’.
Fatemeh Turk Kajouri’s father, who went to Evin Prison several times to see his daughter was told that he could visit her on Thursday, but was prevented from visiting her when he came back to the prison on Thursday.
Father Behrouz Sadeq Khanjani, who is the head of the Iran Bamdad Church, was arrested on June 16, 2010 when he was in Shiraz to hand over his last defense to the intelligence agency. After a long interrogation session, he was transferred to the Intelligence Detention Center.
Fatemeh Turk Kajouri, his wife, was arrested on June 18 in Tehran and taken to Evin Prison.

The head of the Center for the Mental Upbringing of Children and Teenagers in Mazandaran said, “In the Noor and Chastity Exhibition in Mazandaran, the newest generation of Dara and Sara Dolls with Islamic veiling will be sold”…
“Some families do not dress their children in Islamic attire under the excuse that they are children and in the ages when the duty of observing the Islamic veil become mandatory they have problems and cannot easily teach their children religious values”, Qasem Aziz-Zadeh Gorjy added. Taxi-agency drivers discontent of the law transport charges

After the ration of gasoline was decreased the taxi drivers have to by gasoline in free price and they say that the money they charge the passengers is not adequate for such expense. On the other hand passengers complain that the price of charge for transportation with taxi is too high!
