Qom seminary teachers and students group: referring to pro- Khamenei clerics is religiously unlawful

According to a statement which was published in websites on Monday, a group of Qom and Najaf seminary teachers and students who called themselves the ‘Motaqen’ (those who are pious) said that referring to clerics who visited with Khamenei in his visit to Qom was void and religiously unlawful. This group praised clerics who refused to visit with Khamenei despite the consequences and said that they were ‘independent clerics’.

Cleric Abdolnabi Namazi who is a member of the Assembly of Experts said, “The roots of the 2009 seditions were the same movement that led the students’ unrest in 1999. Those people should have been dealt with then so that the events of last year would not take place. The roots of the sedition have to be dried with foresight”.

Regime declared that we might lose the biggest oil field of Azadegan. Isna wrote: departure of Inspection Company of Japan from the project of Azadegan oil field and inefficient management of oil authorities, have increased the possibility of great damages to this huge national oil resource.
It should be mentioned that this oil field is the biggest discovery of oil field in the recent decades.

Another Ahmadinejad lie exposed

The state run Tehran Emrouz daily exposed another one of the lies of Ahmadinejad. Ahmadinejad had claimed that 5,600 billion tomans had been spent to build Tehran’s metro and that it was one of the most expensive metros in the world.
This state run daily wrote: “the building expenses of the Tehran Metro have been 35 million dollars for every kilometer so far. This is while the price for every kilometer in other countries is 75 to 105 million dollars”.
“According to figures from the Urban Railroad Companies in Tehran and Suburbs, the Tehran metro is one of the cheapest metros in the world”.

More than 45 percent of women are unemployed in Iran

According to official figures, 46.5 percent of women are unemployed in Iran and 50 percent of young people with degree are also unemployed. The Advisor of the Social Parliamentary Commission said that the unemployment rate of women has had a 15 percent rise.
“Currently, the number of young unemployed girls has gone up from 318,000 to 515,000 people which mean that the unemployment rate of 16 to 25 year old females which was 32.8 percent in 2009 has now increased to 46.5 percent.

Laid off workers of the Bordsir Sugar Cube Factory in Kerman held a protest gathering outside of this factory demanding wages and bonuses they had been denied for two years.

Qazvin thread factory workers protest in Tehran

According to reports, more than 350 workers of the Meh Thread and Naz Thread Factory in Qazvin went to Tehran on November 6 and protested outside Ahmadinejad’s office. They gathered in protest to not receiving their wages for ten months.

Invitation of Larijani from Jack Straw brought unrest in the government

A site belonging to Ahmadinejad in an interview with Jack Straw revealed that he had been invited by Larijani to come to Iran in the beginning of the year. Right after that public relation of parliament disproved the invitation, but sites wrote: Larijani’s office did not disprove, but have said that invitation was not by Larijani. Regime sources by the way did say about their relation with Jack Straw and wrote: one of the top officials had meeting with him two years ago and there is a possibility that this invitation has been by this authority. But Bighash one of the member of security and foreign policy of parliament protested against Larijani and said: Larijani should respond on his acts. Straw’s betrayal to Islamic republic of Iran is clear for everyone and is unforgettable.

Top cleric calls hand chopping greatest mercy

Pointing to the hand amputation sentence the head of Friday Prayers in Tehran said, “These (sentences) are considered violent by those who do not know about the depth of these customs, while it is the greatest mercy”…
Ahmad Khatami stressed that retribution (death sentences) and amputation are the greatest mercy in the society and said, “Islam… talks of the decisive implementation of Islamic laws because in this way, the life of thousands are saved”. (Fars state-run News Agency)

SSF requests more power for suppression

The heads of the State Security Forces requested greater mandate from the Iranian parliament to suppress the people especially women.
A website run by the former head of the RGC, Rezayi, cited a meeting between the SSF and parliament members to examine the methods of the implementation of the so-called chastity and veiling plan and quoted MP Mosa Qorbani as saying that ‘Radan and Sajedi Nia requested an increase of their mandate from parliament to take the necessary measures and ratify deterrent punishments”.

No news on abducted labor activist

According to reports, there is no news on the condition of abducted labor activist Gholamreza Gholam Hosseini.
This labor activist was abducted after he was attacked by agents of the Ministry of Intelligence in a street in Karaj and after severe beatings, was transferred to a solitary cell in the Sepah Cellblock in Gohardasht Prison in Karaj. There has been no news on his condition since his arrest.
His family has constantly approached various centers asking about his condition but they have not been given any answers and his family is very concerned for his safety.
Agents of the Ministry of Intelligence attacked his home before this and took his child hostage for one day in his absence. They also seized his ID, passport and bank card and booklet from his home. His family is now unable to draw money from their bank account and is facing financial problems.
Gholam Hosseini’s family went to the Karaj Intelligence Agency to get back their personal documents and bank cards but was met with disrespect by an intelligent agent who threatened them that ‘if we arrest Mr. Gholam Hosseini, we will skin him”.
A new method used by intelligence agents is that in addition to cutting off the wages of the Tehran and Suburbs Bus Company’s suspended workers, they seize the bank documents of these workers so that their families would not be able to draw money from the bank and in this way put their families under financial pressure
