Massacre of 30000 political prisoner in 1988 in Iran by Iranian Regime

In summer of 1988, 30000 political prisoners were sent to the gallows on the direct order of Khomeini.
The ‘Boards of Death’ immediately ordered the execution of those political prisoners who identified themselves as ‘Mojahed’; a PMOI member or supporter.
These kangaroo courts lasted only a few minutes.
The massacred political prisoners in Tehran were buried in collective graves in a land which was called later ‘Khavaran Golzar’ meaning ‘the land of flowers of the East’.
Each year at the anniversary of this massacre the families of the slain political prisoners and other freedom loving people gather in this Golzar commemorating those who fall for the freedom of Iran.
