Unrest in Tabriz,


August 1, 2010
At 1800 on Sunday August first as regime prevented the fans of two soccer teams enter Sahand Stadium in Tabriz making a curfew like scene the fans gathered in protest in Sa’at Square and in front of the Governor Office of the city.
Anti-riot forces took into the scene and clashes started; the crowd started shouting ‘you have no honor’ at the suppressive forces as they entered the scene.

The protesters chanted:
- Long live Azerbaijan whoever cannot tolerate it be blind
- We are ready to get killed we are soldiers of Babak (a hero from Azerbaijan who rose against the oppressor of his time)
- Whoever doesn’t take side he is with Pasdars (IRGC members) and does not have honor
- Death to fascist
