Tehran- Sharif Industrial University June 12, 2010 - There are scores of security forces from Azadi Square to Sharif University and they do not let anyone even take out their cell phones. Security forces threw a person’s cellphone on the ground after he took it out. There are about 100 security agents standing outside Sharif University. Students are standing at the door of the university and Bassij forces prevent them from leaving the university. The students are chanting anti-regime slogans. The sounds of death to dictator and Allah O Akbar can be heard from inside the university. There are about 10 police busses in the Ostad Moien Intersection outside Sharif University. Bassij forces with armed with batons and tear gas are stationed inside the Asemi School and waiting to attack students. There are clashes between the students and the Protection Department and a number of people were arrested. A number of Bassij forces are filming the students for later identification. Students are trying to leave the university from the eastern door.

June 12, 2010 - There are large crowds in Vanak Square and they are moving about. But the gathering has still not started.

June 12, 2010 - There are clashes inside Tehran University. Students are chanting and a number of students were arrested. Students are moving towards the door of the university to leave and go out to the streets but the Protection Department is preventing them from leaving. Security forces have made a human wall in front of the university to prevent students from leaving.
Security forces have shot tear gas into Tehran University but students are still chanting and resisting.
