His wife was released in the middle of the night after undergoing prolonged interrogations along with her daughter. But Saiedi, 37, was detained for two months in a solitary cell in the Revolutionary Guards Corps Intelligence Agency in Ahwaz known as the Chaharshir Detention Center.
He was only allowed a one minute distant visit with his wife on September 15 and a 5 minute phone call with her afterwards. In this telephone call, he said that he was treated well by the detention agents but did not explain why as his wife had witnessed from a distance, his hand was broken and in a cast. He said that agents wanted information regarding the church pastors and that they have put him under pressure in this regard.
Agents threatened Neshan Saiedi’s wife that if she talks about what she saw and heard in this visit, she and her daughter would be in trouble and she would never see her husband again. These agents also told her that she was not to get a lawyer for her husband.
Saiedi was kept in detention for a long time in a state of limbo without being charged and was interrogated on several occasions by security forces. His broken hand was apparently the result of these interrogations.
He was accused of having communications with Israel and Britain, apostasy, annunciating Zionist Christianity in Iran, diverting Muslims, baptizing Muslims who had converted to Christianity, holding illegal gatherings in his home and even secessionism for Khuzestan’s Arabs.
This Christian man denied all the accusations and said that he was in no way involved in any political and illegal activities and was only holding religious ceremonies with a number of his fellow Christians.
Agents have told this Christian convert that until his trial or until he is once again summoned, he cannot leave his home and his wife, Mrs. Entezar, has to go to the Revolutionary Guards Corps Intelligence Agency in Chaharshir Ahwaz at a specific time everyday to sign in. Before this, they were banned from registering their daughter in school and were told that she has to be registered as a Muslim and if they want to sign her in as a Christian, they have to get a court confirmation.

Ashura in Iran

By coming closer to Ashura, Thursday 16th of December, youths and people of Iran once again in the memory of Last Ashura, have a different atmosphere and they are preparing themselves everywhere for protests against Mullah’s regime. Youths and people of Iran inform each other in every ways. In the following news which youths and freedom loving people of Iran have published in different sites and in facebook, they have once again called upon for protest gatherings in the day of Ashura.

In this years’ Ashura we will hit against this repressive government
In the last year Ashura, people’s anger harvested the repressive regime of Khamenei and this year also we have to harvest it and must wipe out the repressive forces of this cruel government by slogan of, “Moharam is the month of blood, Khamenei will be over thrown".

The epic of last Ashura, was a huge epic, which should be created again
Ashura is not same as other days. On Ashura, everywhere of the city is busy, the number of people is high and there are mourns all over. Therefore every place can become a place for protest gathering. In Ashura because the presence of the people is high, controlling the crowd is a difficult job for regime. The epic of last Ashura was so huge and we can only recreate it in coming Thursday (Dec. 16, 2010).

Ashura is a cry against the repressive ruling regime
Last year’s Ashura was an epic as big as the Ashura, only the conflict scene was different: Harpoons and swords were replaced by guns and cars of police forces. Otherwise, Yazid was same as the Old Yazid and Hossein was the Hossein. When you see Ahmad Khatami who gives order of acting cruel, it is like that Omar Saed has come out of the grave and is reading sermon for his forces. When Khamenei threatens his opponents for pouring their blood it reminds Yazid. Ashura is a cry against the repressive ruling regime. Another Ashura is in the way, once again by shouting “ Khamenei is a murderer and his rule is a waste, we will shake the present Yazid".
Note: Yazid was the enemy of Imam Hossein (Grandchild of Prophet Mohammad) who was killed by Yazid.

Iran announces death sentence for Christian priest on apostasy charges
Dec. 2, 2010
Shirin Khanjani, the sister of Bishop Behrouz Khanjani, cited in an interview the death sentences issued for Persian speaking Christians and the pressure on the Christian society in Iran.
Last week, the death sentence for Yusef Nodrkhani, a priest in the Church of Iran was announced even while security institutions had prevented the announcement of this sentence before this…
Shirin Khanjani: My brother Behrouz Khanjani is currently in the Shiraz Army Prison and when he was under the supervision of intelligence agents, he was under severe torture and was mistreated by intelligence agents…
According to the latest information, no court session has been held for him as yet.
He has been kept in temporary detention for 10 months in a state of limbo and he has been under severe mental and physical pressure in this time…
(Regarding the case of Mr. Nodrkhani), he has received his death sentence which was issued for the charge of apostasy and was announced to him in written form.
He is currently in the Lakan Prison in Rasht and his lawyer has filed for an appeal. His sentence has been referred to the Supreme Court for confirmation…
Mr. Nodrkhani became a Christian at the age of 19 which was the legal age for him to choose his religion and he became a Christian before he chose Islam as his religion. According to religious law, he has the right to choose a religion other than Islam when he reached his legal adult age. Therefore bringing up the issue of apostasy for him cannot be correct and anyway we look at it, his sentence is completely illegal and inhumane.
