Merchants of Bazaar have received a note that they had to fill and sign till July 22 for paying 15% taxes. If a merchant doesn’t fill the note he will receive 30% fine.
The merchants must write their personal information such as home phone number and their National ID number.
The merchant’s income is not mentioned.
Though Bazaar is open but it is inactive and there is no exchange of goods.

A missing youth in Bazaar events
Tehran-July 21, 2010
A youth that was missing since Bazaar strikes started was found by his family. He has been detained at the Security Police’s station and his family put the document of the ownership of their house as his bail.
This youth has been detained along with 140 others.
The youth who has had no contact with his family at the time of his detention said that he has been beaten several times during his detention and has been kept along with 30 others in a small room.


Sanctions

Manipulating gasoline at gas stations by Ahmadinejad’s government and his subordinates

Reports received by ISC from some workers at gas stations in Tehran the quality of gasoline delivered to gas stations during recent months by the government, is very poor. The gasoline is manipulated.
It vaporizes very fast leading to the evaporation of two to three percent of the delivered gasoline. Instead of compensating for that Ahmadinejad’s government is issuing fines for the owners of gas stations an act that has led to their discontent.

At South Kargar, Tehranno gas stations and gas stations around Tajrish decrease in gasoline ration and the high price of free gasoline which is 420 per liter as well as long queues for gasoline have led to people’s protest.

Reports gathered by ISC members say that on July 19 some of gas stations in Tehran were closed and didn’t distribute fuel.
Some other gas stations such as Tarasht Gas Station at the beginning of North Roosevelt Highway, Sataar Khan Gas Station at Behboodi and Baharestan were confronted with long queues of vehicles for receiving gasoline.

The price of gasoline in Zahedan has reached 800 tomans per liter.

Decrease in oil production
Tehran-July 21, 2010
In its monthly report OPEC announced that production of Iran’s oil has faced a 103000 barrels decrease and has reached 3 million and 738 barrels per day.
The report has also pointed to the fact that Iran’s crude oil has a decrease of 2 dollars and 26 cents during last month.
