The Anniversary of Students Uprising in Iran

ISC reported from Shahre Kurd University that last week at the exam of Engineering System of this university regime’s mercenaries announced from the loudspeaker right before the exam that the student should chant ‘Salavat’ (praising the profit Mohammad). Students used the opportunity and started chanting ‘Allah O Akbar’ and ‘death to dictator’ instead. Harasat agents and the supervisors of the exam panicked and started running around.

ISC reports from around Tehran that valiant youths are calling upon people to participate in July 9 uprising by writing slogans and posting posters at the anniversary of Students Uprising. In fear of that regime is preparing its suppressive teams.

On last Saturday residents of Gisha were faced with call for uprising at the anniversary of Students Uprising throughout the park of the region.
The call was written on the park’s benches and other belongings as “we demand the right of people’s sovereignty in Iran’, ‘we are awaiting July 9’ and ‘Khamenei you papery wolf your time is over- we are awaiting July 9’.
The following slogans were numerously seen in the regions of Bargh Alestom, Shahin Park at the north of Satarkhan St, it’s by streets and around Fajr Hospital at Pirozi St, around Mardom Hospital, Kerman St and Ashtiani St. in Saddastgah region:
‘We don’t want compulsory religion and veil’ and ‘mullahs get lost- we are waiting July 9’.
In Ponak region at Kamali Blvd. and streets of Jangale and Bahar the youths have written slogans calling people to uprising on July 9.
Also in Doolab region slogans of ‘death to Khamenei, don’t forget July 9’ is written on the walls of Jahan Panah Park and the streets around Saeedi Square.

The clerical dictatorship threatens people by sending SMS

ISC reported from Isfahan that regime is sending SMSs on people’s mobile threatening them to prevent them from participation in the coming uprising. The SMS reads as: “dear resident you are under the influence of media affiliated with foreigners. Incase you have communications with the media abroad or act illegally anyhow you will be counted as guilty by law and you will b punished”.

You are guilty for destabilization of the region not us

Larijani the head of regime’s parliament pointed to the new front of the region’s countries against regime’s nuclear ambitions and absurdly talked of insecurity in the region caused by other countries to cover regime’s role in destabilization of the region by its nuclear program.
Larijani said: “some countries of the region are trying to insecure the Persian Gulf region step by step”.
Larignai added: “I think they don’t intend to have an honest dialogue. They want the dialogue so that they can say that it wasn’t successful and then pave the way for their intentions...Their refineries are active in three Gulf countries and they are preparing in land and sea and air in these countries...The consequences will harm the region’s countries because Iran is ready for defense”.
Larijani also said that 20% enrichment of Uranium is the top priority of regime’s nuclear program and added: “in current situation the most important thing is to speed up the nuclear program”.
About inspecting ships carrying cargo for the clerical dictatorship Larijani threatened: “...if they want to bully us we will take new steps”.


Larijani reacts to Ahmadinejad’s words

Following the deepening of schism within the regime Larijani took position against Ahmadinejad’s words about change in regime’s parliament’s bills and said: “this claim has no origin. Changing and completing bills is the right of the Majlis and only the Council of Guidance can say whether a bill is against the religious law or constitution or not”.

Qolamhossein Elham a member of regime’s Council of Guidance demanded that Azad University be taken out of Rafsanjani and his band’s possession and said: “Azad University is not a personal belonging so that it can be endowed to disguise public opinion...instead of using this wealth for educational purposes it is used for sedition against people (read Khamenei and his band)...”
Pointing to the other heads of the defeated fraction Elham added: “tendency to rule is one of the reasons of the current sedition. Some provoked unrests because people (read Khamenei and his band) said they are not eligible for governing. They made the establishment the subject of enemy’s humiliation”.
Rafsanjani too attacked Khamenei’s band and said: “we must avoid radical moves, fruitless political and fractional disputes”.

Sadegh Mahsoli makes fuss

Sadegh Mahsoli, a Pasdar and the welfare minister in Ahmadinejad’s cabinet who has plundered in billions the public wealth of Iran said: “if Khamenei permits we will all go to Qaza”.
A while ago visiting a kindergarten he demanded that the culture of seeking martyrdom must spread amongst the children and now he said: “damn them. Not only they keep silence about this issue but they unit against people of Palestine with the world’s arrogance...Israel will be soon completely destroyed. The Zionist regime will be eradicated from the globe”.

Regime gets ready for potential riot over gasoline

Reports from within the regime say that IRGC is getting ready for new protests over the lack of gasoline due to new sanctions.
Rafsanjani who is a part of the regime has said that IRGC’s interference in the country’s economy is dangerous and has added that this military organ is walking towards dictatorship.

The merchants of Tehran’s Great Bazaar went on strike

In protest to increase in taxes the merchant of Tehran’s Bazaar went on strike. The strike started from the Gold-Sellers Bazaar and Jewelers and spread to other sections of Bazaar.
The SSF tired to break the strike but merchant and people present at the Bazaar resisted and continued their strike.

Statement of Bazaar of Tabriz in protest to arbitrary arrest of Azerbaijani activists

A group of merchants of Tabriz Bazaar issued a statement in protest to the recent vast arrests of Azerbaijani activist and demanded their unconditional and immediate freedom of all political prisoners. The statement reads in part:
“Instead of solving countries economic and political problems they are arresting valiant youths of Azerbaijan...more than 35 brave Azerbaijani women and men are detained in torture chambers without any reason...Bazaar has always played an undeniable role in pursuing revolution ...from Constitutional Revolution to the Anti Monarchy Revolution... and now we the merchants of Azerbaijan’s Bazaars demand the unconditional freedom of all political prisoners especially civil activist of the National Movement of Azerbaijan. We will always support the oppressed”.

Though her muscles were paralyzed she was interrogated

Narges Mohammadi the deputy of Advocates of Human Rights Society and the head of the Executive Board of Peace Council who was just freed from regimes torture chambers and is hospitalized suffers several times a day from sudden muscle paralysis and is not even able to talk at the time of the attack.
While in prison the interrogators of the clerical dictatorship had taken her under interrogation even when she had been under such attacks.
Mohammadi has won the international trophy of Alexander Longer.
She has been banned from her jobs and leaving the country since a year ago.

Regime’s evil attack on a village

A source of ISC reported that on Friday July 2 the forces of IRGC viciously raided one of the villages of Azerbaijan. In this attack 72 were injured and 2 were severely injured. The mercenaries confiscated the villagers lands by force.

Arbitrary arrest of a political activist

Four agents of Intelligence Forces arrested Mr. Hassan Rahimi Bayat, Engineer of Development and a known activist of Azerbaijan National Movement. He is also a member of Reporters of Human Rights Committee and a human right activist. He was arrested on July 3, at 1.5 pm in his office and was taken to Evin Prison...He was also detained about two years ago and has been kept in solitary confinement of Evin Prison in wards 240 and 209.

Reduction of call-time for female inmates

In another suppressive measure the officials of Evin Prison have decreased the call-time for female prisoners to 13 minutes per day. The time was 30 to 45 minutes per day before.
These 13 minutes is divided to two time intervals 5 minutes in the morning and 8 minutes in the afternoon to impose more limitation on the prisoners.

Kamran Daneshjoo the minister of Science, Research and Techniques said: “in our view if student organizations act in framework of the law and regulations we support them unless their political view is against the Islamic Republic of Iran and they want to propagate anti Islam views”.
He added: “students’ organizations are free in their cultural, social and political activities but we don’t permit propagation for secularism and activities against Islam and against the Islamic Republic’s establishment at the universities”.

In continuation of pressure of labor activists on last Tuesday labor activist Farzad Ahmadi was arrested in Sanandaj. He is charged with ‘acting against national security (read regime’s security)’ and ‘provoking people to gather and march against execution’. He is condemned to 6 months imprisonment along with corporal punishment.

Uromieh’s branch one of regime’s kangaroo courts summoned 7 civil and labor activist Samad Ahmadpoor, Rahman Tanha, Rahman Ibrahimzadeh, Fatah Soleimani, Hossein Piroti, Abbas Hashempoor and Isa Ibrahimzadeh to court.
These people were under detention in IRGC’s detention center in Uromieh for 12 days last year and then were freed on 10 million tomans bail.

Workers of Qazvin’s Naz Nakh factory gathered in protest on last Monday in front of Majlis. They had not received their wages for six months. They had gathered several times before in front of Presidential Organ for the issue but in vein.

Pars Metal workers: we will not be deceived

After two day of protest the manager of Pars Metal Factory told the workers that they will receive their postponed wages in a week but the workers find out that this was just propagation for the media so they announced that if this is not solved in a week they will gather in protest again.
The workers said that this lies comes at a time that the life of 500 workers of this factory is tearing apart and they are selling everything they have to provide the minimum livelihood for their family.

Mohammad Royanian announced in the morning of July 5 that from Fall there will be no ration for gasoline and gas oil but those will be sold with half subsidy freely.

Tax increase; discontent residents
Tehran, July 5, 2010
Increase in taxes for lands has increased irregularly during last 4 years which has caused discontent and complains amongst people.
For example in 2004-2005 in region 22 of Tehran’s municipality the tax was 20000 tomans and in the current year it is 360000 tomans per year.
As the result the landowners have gathered several times in protest in front of the municipality of the region in Shahrak Bagheri but the municipality has taken no action in that regard.

Pressure on students
Ahwaz, July 5, 2010
Sama Faculty in Ahwaz has no dormitory and they don’t serve food for the students. Classes of this faculty are held in containers (pre-made rooms with metal sheets) in the hot weather of the region thus the classes are very hot.
The quality of education in this faculty is very law and most of the students are not content.
In each term a student must pay between 500000 to one million tomans. Adding up expenses for transportation and food this amount reaches over 2000000 tomans. More than 30% of students have to work and study.
The students do not have access to computer and internet at the faculty. A very poor quality library exists there and the few students who are its members always complain of the quality.
