Calling for Uprising
Tehran/ Isfahan, May 31, 2010

Youths of the Uprising continue their propagation for uprising in June in different regions of Tehran inviting people to be present in the streets for demonstrations on June 10-20.
On Saturday May 29 the slogan of ‘Khamenei die- you are oppressor- don’t forget June 10-20’ was seen on the passenger bridge in Heshmatieh region attracting the attention of passer-byes.
Also residents of Vahidieh and Nezamabad regions received leaflets on Saturday reading: “June 10-20 are unforgettable days in the current history of Iranians, the days of their salvation from the hands of criminal mullahs. We can and we must topple criminal Khamenei. We’ll gather on June 10-20”.
In another event brave youths of Isfahan distributed the call of the leader of the resistance for the uprising on June 10-20 in different regions of this city.

Six inmates executed

The anti human clerical regime hanged 6 inmates in Yazd and Shirvan. These criminal hangings at the wake of anniversary of Iran’s Uprising are to provoke fear and horror amongst people.

Tabriz getting prepared

It is for a while that writing slogans and sending Bluetooth and SMS for June uprising has started.
On the other hand since May 22 SSF is on state of alert in the city imposing military atmosphere over the city. But anti-regime slogans still are seen on the walls of the city and its universities reading ‘death to Ahmadinejad’, ‘death to dictator’ and ‘we are uncountable’.

To provoke fear and terror at the wake of June Uprising the suppressive regime of mullahs arrested 321 people in one night during a vicious raid.
The criminal mercenary of Khamenei, Khancharli, and the deputy of operation of Great Tehran’s SSF told the reporter of Shahr state-run news agency that in 270 points of Tehran 290 men and 31 women have been arrested. He called them drug sellers who had guns too to cover this suppressive act.

In fear of another uprising in June regime’s suppressive agents are arresting women and men on the excuse of improper veil or not having proper appearance. The presence of suppressive patrols bothering people is clearly seen.

1-People are vastly informing each other and are following the possible demonstrations; they want to find a way to gather in Azadi Sq.
2-SSF is trying to arrest all those who were active in last year’s protests.
3-RGC is mobilized on the excuse of the anniversary of Khomeini’s death on June 4 and they will continue this mobilization until June 15.
4-The dissidents try to disrupt the ceremony for the anniversary of Khomeini’s death but regime is mobilizing all its Bassij forces to confront that.
5-From the day after regime’s security forces will be on state of alert in different regions trying to arrest all active element and they try to cut their connections.

Rafsanjani reactivated
Tehran, May 31, 2010

A weak ago Rafsanjani’s site once more posted his letter criticizing Khamenei written last year. In reaction to that the Prosecutor’s Office intends to arrest the elements close to Rafsanjani. The first on the list is Jasbi.
The office entered Mehdi Hashemi Rafsanjani’s office in Azad University and collected some documents which show that they were collecting some documents against regime’s top officials there. There were some reports there about regime’s raid on Shiraz’s university’s dormitory which is in the hands of the office now.
RGC says that Rafsanjani is getting close to Karrobi and Mosavi these days.
On the other hand Mosavi is under heavy pressure because of his statement condemning the executions of political prisoners and is trying to have Rafsanjani as his back up.
Regime’s TV will have programs to counter the acts of the defeated fraction.

Mullah Haidar Moslehi regime’s Intelligence Minister worried about the breakage of talisman of Supreme Leadership said: “talking about opposing Supreme Leadership is hypocrisy and threat against national security. In another event Rahim Safavi the former head of RGC conceded that Pasdars have lost their motivation and said: “why are some commanders keeping silence in regard with Sedition and haven’t condemned it? Why don’t they take a clear position?

Morteza Mobalegh political deputy of Interior Ministry at Khatami’s term warned regime’s top officials: “limiting media and closing newspapers and filtering site belonging to criticizers within the System will unfortunately have no results other than opening way for foreign media which will ruin the Revolution and Imam without any limitation”.
Having pity on Supreme Leadership’s dictatorship he scolded the dominant fraction: “when security atmosphere prevails in the society we will witness the spread of violent, underground acts that are against the System and the Revolution. This is experienced before and is crystal clear...”
Being worried about regime’s destiny he added: “they will harm the country and Revolution by this kind of atmosphere. This act will drive the loyal criticizers who are loyal to Imam, Revolution’s cause and Islamic Republic into isolation and will open way for radical moves”.

Regime fear’s the new strategy for US national security

This is how Islamic Republic’s editorial begins: “After 16 months in White House and in continuation of his disguising slogans for change, Barak Obama US’s clamorous president presented new strategy for national security of this country and announced that time of war against terror is over and the activities must be based on multi-aspect diplomacy”.
The daily points at the center of worrying issues of the mullahs and writes: “In the new strategy Obama once more repeated claims of White House about Iran’s nuclear program and said that Iran is still acting against international regulations; it is supporting terrorism and denying global peace”.
While horrified the editorial continues: “The danger of Obama’s deception and his use of the weapon of soft-policy and change in US’s violent policies is no less than the danger of Bush and Neo-conservative’s fussing...”

Majid Tavakoli honors all the compassion

Majid Tavakoli as student political prisoner thanked all those who rose for his help in Iran and around the world. He said that his physical condition is getting better after 6 days of dry hunger strike and he continued: “I see it necessary to ask all my compatriots to continue their support of and solidarity with political prisoners and their families. Currently hundreds of children of this land are in prison under pressure just because they had expressed their opinion and some of them are in danger of losing their lives...”.

Safar Harandi confronted in Semnan University

For the speech of this regime’s element, Safar Harandi in Semnan University on May 26, university’s Harasat changed the place of his speech to a hall with one fourth capacity of the central hall of the university. For the speech most of the hall was filled with Bassijies but as he came out of the hall about 600 to 700 students chanted against him and expressed their protest against the presence of this mercenary of Khamenei.
To horrify the students Harasat started taping the faces of the students.

Reza Joshan hits back

Torturers of clerical regime prevent from treatment for the acute disease of political prisoner Reza Joshan 25.
In answer to the criminal judge who told him to repent if he wants to get out of his condition he answered back: “if I wanted to write my repent I wasn’t here”.
Reza Joshan is arrested because he is a family member of PMOI members in Ashraf City, Iraq.

Political prisoner Kohyar Godarzi made the henchmen to retreat by his dry hunger strike.
When the henchmen retreated and yielded to his demand Kohyar broke his hunger strike.

Clashes in Ahwaz
Ahwaz, May 31, 2010

ISC reports from Ahwaz:
There have been armed clashes around Ahwaz but the officials did not give any explanations even they did not answer the reporters.
Clashes happened in Jalizi region in Hamidieh City in Khozestan Province. This region is placed in the root of water canal which passes above Karkheh Dam.
The reason of the clashes was that RGC is trying to take over 150,000 hectares of the land around the canal and has told the inhabitants to evacuate the lands but they oppose to that especially a tribe called Khazraj.
This dispute led to armed clashes on the night of May 29 and as people say some have been killed and wounded in the clash.
Khozestan Province is formed by different tribes and their life is dependent on their lands and this was not the first time that such clashes occurred.
The last time four SSF were killed.

Political prisoner must serve 10 years term

Regime’s kangaroo court condemned political prisoner Zia Nabavi to 10 years imprisonment. He is accused of “participation in gatherings for disrupting national security, propagation against the state, disruption of public order, agitating public opinion and cooperating with PMOI”.

Karaj, May 31, 2010

Henchmen of Gohardasht Prison are relocating political prisoners from ward 4 to ward 3 which is equal to ward 350 in Evin Prison to but more pressure on them, to control them more and to prevent them from being informed of the crimes the henchmen commit in regard with ordinary inmates.
Some of these prisoners transferred are Mansour Radpoor, Ahmad Zaidbadi, Rasool Bodaghi and Arjang Davoodi. Mr. Bodaghi was transferred again to another prison (Pardis Karaj) in the morning.
The place of incarceration of the political prisoner in ward three lacks any kind of facility such as beds or blankets.

Iran hangs 4 people in Yazd Prison
May 31, 2010 

Four prisoners were hanged in the Yazd Central Prison in central Iran last Wednesday (May 26).
According to reports, they were taken to solitary cells on May 25 in this prison to await their execution. They were hanged the next morning.
The belongings and property of these prisoners, who were awaiting amnesty, had been seized by the Judiciary. 

Iran hangs two others in Khorasan

- Two prisoners in the Shirvan Prison in Northern Khorasan were hanged. According to the state-run Iskanews Website, they were arrested in Northern Khorasan and sentenced to death in the Shirvan Revolutionary Court. Their names and ages were not specified in this report. 

Female university professor sentenced to 6 years of prison and 74 lashes

- According to a sentence issued by the 26th branch of the Revolutionary Court headed by Abbas Pirbabayi, Dr. Sara Tavasoli was sentenced to six years of prison and 74 lashes on charges of participating in Ashura (Dec. 27, 2009) protests and giving her condolences to the family of Moussavi (who was shot by security forces). Tavasoli is a university professor and a member of a university science department.
She was arrested on January 3 and was jailed for 50 days in cellblock 209 in Evin Prison.
Tavasoli was charged with assembling and conspiring with the intention of committing crimes against the security of the state and disrupting public order.

Gohardasht prisoners thrown in solitary after disclosing torture film

- A number of prisoners from cellblock 1 in Gohardasht Prison in Karaj were thrown in solitary after publishing two films showing torture and rape in prison.
Political prisoner Behrouz Javid Tehrani and a number of other prisoners were transferred to solitary along with rape victim Bahram Tasviri.
Prison officials claimed that they were being taken for further investigations to the legal doctor to confirm the torture but these prisoners were all taken to the solitary section known as the Suite.

Security forces beat boy and girl on street

- According to reports, a girl and boy were violently beaten by security forces in Shahroud last night in the Kodak Park to the extent that they were hospitalized. This occurred after the boy sneered at the forces.

Security forces brutally beat and arrest innocent construction workers
May 31, 2010
- According to reports from Shahroud, six construction workers were beaten and arrested by security forces. They were arrested because the building they were working on was being illegally built by a relative of the Mayor of Shahroud and officials were not able to claim charges against him therefore they announced that the construction workers were guilty. The workers who resisted the arrest were brutally beaten and pulled on the ground.

- On Saturday May 29, political prisoner Mansour Osalu was taken to a solitary cell in the Sepah Cellblock in Gohardasht Prison. This cellblock is under the control of the Ministry of Intelligence. Osalu, who is the head of the Tehran and Suburbs Bus Company Union, is under pressure and constant interrogations by agents of this ministry in solitary.

Political prisoner completely unconscious on 18th day of hunger strike

- Death row Political prisoner Habibollah Golpouri became unconscious on his 18th day of hunger strike. Habibollah Goulpouri started a hunger strike on May 12 while jailed human rights activist Mahi-oddin Azadi went on a hunger strike on May 19.
There are reports that Golpouri is in critical condition and is completely unconscious. This Kurd political prisoner from Sanandaj who was sentenced to death by the Revolutionary Court in Mahabad on charges of moharebeh (enmity with God) went on an unlimited hunger strike in protest to this sentence and unsuitable conditions in the Mahabad Prison.
Mahi-oddin Azadi who is suffering from serious illnesses and went on a hunger strike in protest to being deprived from treatment is also in poor physical condition.

15 students suspended after protesting Ahmadinejad’s visit to Beheshti University

- After a visit by Mahmoud Ahmadinejad to the Beheshti University in Tehran and ensuing student protests, the Disciplinary Committee in this university has so far suspended 15 students.
While Ahmadinejad denies punishing dissidents in interviews with international media, the unprecedented waves of confronting students in various universities is on going. After the arrest of 17 students and the summoning and threatening of over 30 students in the Bahonar University in Kerman before a visit by Ahmadinejad to this city, there is now news on widespread disciplinary confrontations with Beheshti University students.

At Shiraz University girls wearing white Manteus are warned. But in spite of all pressures, suppressive elements of the university including Harasat agents and Bassijies cannot put pressure on female students any more and do not dare to engage with them because immediately the girls start to protest.
Also in the city if Bassijies want to bother a girl or woman people protest and shout at Bassijies preventing the arrest of the subject.

On Saturday May 29 from 8 pm in Ponak Sq towards south up to Hemat Highway’s bridge SSF stopped about 70 to 80 cars putting a board on them reading ‘obtruding women’.
Also in Bagheri Highway two lines were closed and cars with women passengers were stopped on excuse of having improper veil. Their documents were taken from them in some cases.

After two years 65 million people will be under poverty line
Tehran, May 31, 2010

A regime’s MP predicted that due to anti-people policies of this plundering regime 65 million Iranians will be under poverty line in a year or two.
Daryoush Ghanbari said: “having no investment in occupation sector, unlimited imports and weakening of production” will lead to this.
He said that statistic published by the government shows that 40 million people are currently under poverty line and added: “when unemployment increases in the society and when oil income is used for the current budget instead of being invested in infrastructure we will witness poverty line in the country”.
